So what's prompted the move to resist-tanked supercaps? Seems all the mothership and titan lossmails being generated lately are configured without shield boosts or armor reps. Is this just because of the direct doomsdays?

Basically you can't rep dick if you self rep and you lose fuck loads of EHP trying to self rep.
Supers now are all about EHP and being repped by others.

iirc it was never overpowered. maybe too much shield, but remember the original idea of :awesome: was a 30% jump range increase on the role bonus?
