Is there any actual evidence that Apple build quality is good? I mean, design seems good (not my style, but I respect it), but apart from fanbois raving about it and a pre-2012 earned reputation, what makes people say Apple is good build quality now?

A friend of mine runs a tech repair company. 8/10 computers he gets in for repair are macbooks. Appearently they are constructed to kill their harddrives.
You know those tiny "do not cover" holes on the HDD? Yea. apple covers those, preventing propper airflow as the thing heats up/cools down etc.
