Pistol carbine is gonna be more accurate. Either way if they are afraid of him or her carrying a weapon period it may be less what kind and the fact he is. My niehgbors who both own guns as well don't care.Quote:

We exported a huge number of M1 Garands and M1 Carbines to friendly nations who have since upgraded to more modern rifles. They began selling them back to the US as curio/relics or history pieces. Unfortunately, "Dear Leader" has banned the import of "military grade" firearms under the basis that someone might buy a Thompson machinegun and kill a bunch of nuns. This ignores the fact that all full auto or select fire firearms are de-militarized before resale which is strictly controlled first by US Customs and later individually confirmed by the ATF. Since then the price of the M1 Carbine has jumped up and you'll end up paying no less than $800 if you're lucky or find someone particularly desperate on gunbroker.com, $1200 if you're not. For that kind of cash you might as well just by an AR-15.Quote:
