Hai gais! What's going on in here?

It's some kids airsoft gun so no worries.
Yeah we can tell by the PSG-styled handle and half-assed stock it's airsoft.
And the general wonkiness.
And that scope?
I've heard about setups like that before, it's basically a pair of low power sights mounted in-line with one able to be swung out of the way, and spaced so that when both are in-line they're in focus at higher magnification. The theory is that you can go from an effective 6x or 4x magnification to a 2x magnification just by swinging one scope out of the way.
Of course, given the low muzzle velocity of airsoft and poor accuracy, anything over a 4x is complete and utter wank, and 4x is only marginally useful. You don't need anything over 2x for shooting, 4x is only useful in big scenario games for scouting. If you're in a really big scenario game, you bring a monocular in your gear bag for any higher magnification needs.
Airsoft is infested with tacticool operator kids, so you get to see the dumbest shit possible. Buddy of mine was telling a story about the field he goes to, some guy showed up with a real-weight M82 with 12x scope and vertical foregrip. Due to field regs, he was FPS capped at 350 FPS like everyone else, and wound up doing nothing for his team but looking like a complete tool.

Paintball is a far better way to enjoy fake shooting at people along with genrally less derps.
Don't worry thread, I will save you!
Here's some pics of me shooting my K31 a couple weeks ago. Went hunting last Saturday but was a bit too low for the deer yet :(

I have two of those flip up mag optics, one real, one fake airsoft knockoff. You usually use something without magnification like a red dot.
It's extremely rare to actually need any kind of magnification in airsoft. Most of the time, people have it and don't need it, or don't use it(you can just watch the BBs if you're weird like that). 4x to 6x is actually useable, but only by the guys who have 100+ yard guns, which is fairly rare.

The funny part is that those two optics combined are worth more than the gun. Actually the aimpoint alone might be worth as much as the rifle.
Red dot is just an alternative to iron sights. A side flip magnifier allows you to zoom when you need it and push it out of the way when you don't. So if you're shooting at somone at 200m, then the x4 helps. If you are suddenly inside of a house, you lock to the side and use the red dot for CQB only. Simple concept. Plenty of guys use it but cost of the magnifier (a real one not airsoft) is pretty expensive. Military and police are cheap bastards so getting someone to drop $400 on a magnifier plus another $150 for the mount is a NO GO.
Impulse buys are bad.....impulse buys are bad....impulse buys are ba....OH SHINY!!!

PF9 chambered in 9mm. Has a pretty snappy recoil. I only have two complaints.
The mag release has a decent travel but is already almost recessed. I need to buy the extended mag release.
Changes out mags is a pain in the but without the extended two. I was doing "pairs-reload-pairs" but the combination of the small mag release and the hard to grab magazine made it very difficult. The magazine with the extended toe on the other hand was much easier to grib and pull out. I imagine like anything else, more practice will loosen up the magwell so they just drop free.
However, that pistol is very narrow and very light. The trigger is also smooth.
