reality is not a movie, shooting people, unless you hit something immediately important, it is not actually outright fatal regardless of calibre, people die from bleeding out and organ damage in the aftermath, unless the heart, brain or spine is hit.

moreover, law enforcement generally use hollow point rounds precisely to maximize damage and reduce overpenetration on unarmored targets.

people routinely get hit by rifle calibre bullets in warzones and walk/run away leaking like sieve, why do you expect a pistol to do better with a lot less energy applied to cause collateral damage though shockwaves ?

I'm waiting for K USA to come out with their KR-103 and seeing the reviews on that vs PSA's AK 103 Klone with the FN barrel. I'm sure the KR-103 will do well since it has same specs as the AK-103 out of RUS. I'll probably pick one up once the reviews are in though.

According to major German news outlets, the Bundeswehr picked its new assault rifle.

AND IT IS NOT H&K!

Instead, it is C.G. Haenel from Suhl.

Short-stroke direct impingement system, similar to H&Ks 416. Haenel makes great guns and this contract is cheaper than H&K. This is however their first really big contract in thirty years. We'll see how this will play out eventually.

Well, they had two rather well known products in their previous iterations:

• the Sturmgewehr 44
  
• the MPi-K(alashnikov) and it's iterations.

The Bundeswehr already bought the G29 from Haenel*. It's a sniper rifle for the KSK.

There is a civilian version, the CR223. Expensive as hell/H&K.
