Little known fact, but suppressors do still actually do their jobs with supersonic ammo. The better question is why would you possibly think that putting subsonic ammo into a LMG is a reasonable thing to do?Quote:

"Tactical supressors" (the ones designed to work with supersonic ammo) do have heating problems on top of disabling the muzzle brake which really makes them a burden for any kind of sustained automatic fire, which is what you take LMGs for in the first place.
