MG42 as ad-hoc AA must be terrible, it's way too accurate for that.

I am used to the weapon being a 7,62NATO because thats what I personally used. It doesnt matter if you have an 8x57IS or 7,62x51 "MG42/MG1/MG3", the point remains unchanged as they have similar transsonic distances and are usually subsonic beyond 1100m give or take depending on actual type of cartridge.Quote:

So first time out with the AK, almost pulled an iraqveteran888 on it. Wooden stock got cooked pretty well, smoking hard and almost caught fire and got so weakened that it broke during cleaning.
Fucking hell, AK are so fun guns, they surely do not compare to boringly perfect HK AR's, but fucking hell fun fun fun with ammo prices in the range of 9mm pistol.
