There are a bunch of reasons for that. First of all typical SMG in pistol calibers have a barrel that is really not significantly different to full sized pistols, so ballistically, there is only a small difference. On top of that, the ability to accurately shoot is just an order of magnitude higher on a shoulder based weapon, especially when adding optics and such.Quote:
