There's way to much whining going on. Tbh there's too many mods. The forums just need to be.left alone and mods should only be here to make sure the forum rules are upheld. Moderators are not editors.

Just looking at the last couple of pages, does any of you think this will really ever be a place for civilized discussion without excessive content moderation? It's not going to work to have 'some' moderation and hope things will just get better, this would require mods striking out heavily against all kinds of shitposting and name calling. As a serious question, would that still be SHC? Would we want that?

I'm not sure about that myself, but I know that nothing good is going to come out of this if you don't tone the drama factor down a bit and start acting more maturely. This goes especially for the colored name guys, because like it or not, you hold the power here. There's always going to be rage fits, heated discussions and insults thrown at the mods and site admins and you really shouldn't escalate this further by responding in kind. It completely kills off all of your authority. I had some longer text typed already in one of the other threads concerning this, but then realized nobody asked for my verdict. So to shorten this up: can we discuss things that concern moderation and site policies like grown ups and leave the usual 4chan posting style for the other threads please?
