Hey, figure I may as well x-post from Eve-o
INTERLUDE (http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/lioneironaut/Kovorix.Interlude.avi)
Size: 405mb
Length: 12:09
Ships flown: Myrmidon, Drake, Brutix, Talos
First I want to say this is not at all epic stuff, it just consists of the decent fights I got in the last month or so of infrequent playing. Basically school will start eating into my play time again soon, so I want to just release what I have for now. I do plan a bigger cooler video but it'll have to wait [:=d]
What you'll find inside is some down-home solo stuff, no flashy ships or implants, and all single account. I think it'll be a nice accompaniment to my and Kil2's podcast, if you're into that.
Tracks:
The Keeper - Bonobo
then
Camel, My Chippy, Parisian Goldfish - Flying Lotus (weird remixed stuff from the LA EXPs)

A little much cussin' good sir. ;)
Fun fun fun. Especially BC vs Frigs.
I always wonder why don't you put all your mods on the Fn buttons to make keyboard controlling easier, keep the mouse free.

Like many who play this game I think, I've just grown used to the cumbersome setup I have. I have meant to do something like that for a while, just never figured a way I really like.
thanks man.

Try it, you might like it (Sisi's great for testing such things). As for a way, personally F1 is most vital mod of tackle/cloak, F4 always best prop mod, F8 is DC2/key hardener/tank mod. Tackle & guns fills the rest from left to right, cap mods live near F5, tank by F7.
Yes you have to be aware what you're in when you change ships/fits, but what's new? Know the drone control keys, the approach/warp keys, be free to click in space/on brackets and on the overview.
There's usually few enough active modules to fit on the one line, certainly beats trying to use the default combos to use the other slots via keyboard. Though I admit I've stuck to this way rather than remap the mid/low rack modifiers or even move the Fn keys to something else, perhaps just the numbers like in FPS games.
You just seem to have to turn a few modules off in this vid to avoid overheating rather than keyboard it. I admit the new heat controls on Sisi atm make things even easier to see what's happening either way.

Can you upload it to YouTube? Sorry, but I prefer to watch these kind of videos during my downtime and I cba to go through the process of downloading it on my computer and then trying to format it for my cell phone and then transfer it to my cell phone, etc, etc.

Started strong but ended a bit soft. I think that had more to do with the editing over the actual content.
for example;
the last couple fights you lead on that you're going to do some more damage to those gangs, but instead you just go in, get tackled, and then burn out again and end the clip.
that's just a tease and doesn't actually add anything but length to the video.
at any rate, quality was good, music was good, and the majority of the fights were good to watch :)

Sorry, I'll be working on this, I don't have a youtube channel but I'll probably do something through Kil2's and maybe some commentary as well.

Thanks m8. It took another watch to get what you mean. I think you're talking about the brutix fight - my feeling was that what followed after the only explosion was unusual enough to keep the tape rolling - re-engaging a crippled foe, kiting a harb with drone damage. Your vids are very much of the concise style which i definitely respect, just wasn't exactly going for that here.
