I have noticed in tanks we never win a battle when someone says "i'll project the arty".

I have no idea why this is the case. Perhaps its because immediately we are splitting the team up, or everyone decides to defend (giving me no spotters).. it could be any number of things.

Or when you position yourself in front of arty in a range that should do it, but arty keeps on moving forward and forward and finally stops near the middle of the map, sighting first reds already ... and I'm not talking about :lolscoutingarty:, which is pretty funny sometimes.

As a few have said above,

When your team starts going down a route and you get pass a choke and stop the enemy team after it and they all sit back at the choke point waiting rather than pushing home the advantage, sacrificing your tank so they can push up and then dont bother.
Or
When you hit a flank alone and find all their T10s/T9s/T8s and the rest of you team is still camping a single flank too scared to rush because of one enemy tank ahead of them (5-8 of them camping there)

Once saw a pair of heavies guarding the arty. Caps locking yelling at them to move their asses since we were short on heavies (1 other heavy in our team). So then a pair of M5's roll up and proceed to out manuever the heavys' turrets, rape the arty anyway. Lots of facepalm as the M5's lose one in the process and take one of the KV's with them. The whole protect arty thing is mind boggling since it turns a tank into a paperweight when that tank could be denying entry to the enemy.

Having seen SOLO E-50s take out 3-4 T7 arty AND live 4 times this week, despite our defenses...

He must not know how to circle/feint charge...Please tell me he never played EvE, and as such, is counted amongst our ~bittervet~ rankage...[if he did, link his KB :D]

how long did you play EvE for? Ginger was the biggest retard going. he used to sit in a 0.4 system in the middle of empire with a sniper tempest 150km+ off the gate (this was before the stacking nerf) and try to shoot everything that came through the gate. if you so much as looked at him funny he logged.
I remember his whine when carriers first released and he lost one to a well executed trap - he cried on the forums saying their whole design was flawed.

Years back I remember him I think it was shooting at my ickle incursus in the 0.6 system next to Esa obviously thinking he next door in the low sec system that was the join to 0.0 was quite amusing watching him get concorded...

He was the CEO of OctoberSnow Corp, a pirate corp who NEVER left Rancer/Otou and the other system in that lowsec island. They gate camped permanently and he was never far from his remote sensor boosted thanatos.

We (MCREW) killed him a few times. OctoberSnow policy was a 100% corp tax and all loot went to Ginger's Nyx fund. He got said nyx and then Miz Cenuij scammed him out of it. He went BATSHIT crazy in a few differant locals as he chased Miz around and got permabanned because of his behaviour. (RL threats, racist comments and profuse profanity)

His forum activity was always worth reading though and made me chuckle alot more than once.
