I just saw an enemy Porsche Tiger hiding in A1 behind the pond on Malinovka. I failed to get a screenie because our arty nuked him a second after he popped up on radio. Personally, I have 36 games in it, and 44% wins with 32 kills (83% HR with 815 dpg and 402 xppg). I'm not too stellar, but I still need the upgraded turret. Maybe then it will start to own face... or not. My Tiger stats are a little better - 45% WR over 122 games with 144 kills (84% HR with 1114 dpg and 450 xppg). Overall, I would rate my experience with the two Tigers about 6 out of 10 stars so far but I have a lot of grinding left to go. Also, aren't they getting a buff or something? I had much more fun with the German mediums, especially the DB.

Yeah, that turret needs to be upgraded. And you have to play the turret like the KV-2's turret...that means waggling while you reload/angle your hull. The front of the turret finally stopped my IS rounds that got into Maus...when it waggles I have to track you and flank your sides[side turretmeat is thinner]

A Tiger P vs a Tiger H with equal drivers should have an 80% advantage. I have fought a Tiger H for 2mins solo before. :) walked away with 2 damaged tracks and 85% HP.

And I've warned teams about attacking them solo and they laughed, as the guy kills 4 out of 6 lower tier attackers. It bounces everything.

True, it is similar to IS-3.Gun felt better on VK, faster reload, more precise. Would need to check stats, haven't played IS-3 in a while. IS-3 is much lower target for arty and has better side armor. But really VK45A is not shit as you have stated. I actually enjoyed VK more than KT.

I wish I screenshot that - a ferdi penetrated my t34's hull, at a 45° angle - plus the 45° of the hull itself, that should be mmm, between 20 and 30 right? It was during peekaboo.
Does that mean that he was using gold ammo or that maybe the RNG hates me? The vertical angle, I'm pretty sure of: the map was himmelsdorfuckme. The horizontal angle may have been somewhat differerent, but not too much, between 40 and 50.

Tiger P is awesome vs noobs who don't know where to aim. I've harassed IS-7's and IS-4's, I've soloed noob KT's, and then I had this game, my best yet in release, where both a KT and a TigerH shot HE at me because KT bounced a couple shots.

I took the Tiger P out for a 5x spin today. First game, we almost came back from a bad beat. It was me and a E-75 against Tiger P, KV, Tiger II, Grille and M41. The arties were having a bad day. I think they managed to track me only once. Tiger II looked to be going to engage our E-75 who had just killed a capper (Panther maybe) in our base. I flanked and smoked one Tiger P by using a wreck as cover. The KV was taking pot shots at me from where I couldn't really spot him so I went off to go get him because he was covering the KT from his positio. I took three shots frontally from 107mm shells, first was ammo rack damage, the second took off a fifth of my HP, and third finished me off. Someone please do a tutorial video on how to bounce in this thing fully upgraded because I just don't see many happening in my favor. My Jumbo Sherm bounces way more for its tier. Too bad the little US derp is getting sterilized in the next patch. I love that tank so much!

I never did anything more than angle it the way the tanks wiki said to angle the Tiger H... and rocking back and forth was my favourite part, 4 bounces from all directions gets you excited.
BTW Tiger H's bounced some of our clan this week, WG is tinkering. I even bounced tanks in my Tiger H, but the snipers could just have been in a hurry for my juicy, virginal sniping armour/meat.

The best games have you only taking track dmg and the noob continuing to shoot your hull. I bounced IS rounds off TigP* turret last week, and ever since I've been a bit paranoid that I'll lose to one. *Tiger Penis.

Other than that, [skilled]arty noms your ass up.

KV 107mm hits T8 and 9[sometimes] for full damage...terminate with extreme prejudice.

I facehugged a KT AND a TigP on Karelia with my T29[can do it in IS also]. Walked away with 80% HP[KT swapped to HE] I busted up their neckrings and waggled my reloading time away like a troll.

Just track them and reverse and you might live...might.

I got four shells off before I died: two bounces off the Henschel's turret, one that incurred damage, and one totally ghosted on me (zero damage, no critical, no indication of penetration from the gunner). I guess it could have been a miss but I have no idea where the fuck it went. I was using the D-25T.

Shaking the turret is gonna give you absolutely no advantage. You can angle your turret if its boxy and the sides and front are thick enough to bounce angled but not flat. That's the only reason to do so. Otherwise you're aim of the target and spending more energy on looking like a retard than fixing the situation.

Also, this facehugging trick people keep talking about is not really good advice. Yeah it can work if you are left alone 1on1 and given the opportunity to get close, but anyone even remotely smart will be shooting from a comfortable range whenever possible, and generally speaking, you're gonna get raped by everyone else if you try to charge an important tank from the enemy team in such a fashion.

I realize this post is old but disproving lusulpher is always fun.

Also hitbox skins are silly and do not necessarily give you any good indication of where to shoot. Deliberately trying to ammo rack someone for instance is pretty silly. Just aim at whatever spot gives you the best possible chance of penetrating and doing damage. If possible, aim for the engine compartment since its quite easy to set many american and german tanks on fire due to :lolpetrolengines:
