I'm currently using this, running for angels in 0.0.
Omnitank because refitting for each mission is a hassle, and not really viable due to pulling missions from several agents. Capstable and optimal around 60k. 580 dps without drones and 250 tank.

Major drawbacks is that it's slow as fuck and of course, lasers against mainly minnie/gallente.
Any improvements? More speed while still being cap stable would be golden.

Edit: Also, it's quite cheap, if you want to go bling, get a paladin or nightmare and faction it up.

Whats your usual npc enemy when running Angel missions?
I used a Nightmare for running Sansha/Blood missions before it worked pretty good but it was mostly versus Merc/Amarr Navy iirc.

Personally I'm a big fan of gank over tank, especially in 0.0 where mission speed = big bux and less chance of being probed down.
But if you're fairly safe in 0.0 and suffer disconnects regularly then I guess being cap stable ain't bad.

Revised your setup into a cap booster fit which helps improve the tank.
Required some faction which also handily improves tank and gank.

301 dps tanked omni
618 dps no hardwirings/drones 865 dps with conflag.

I like the SeBo for catching small shit at range where your tracking is inherently better and the TC sort of speaks for itself. AB is always kinda handy but can be dropped for something else to suit.
Not sure on rigs but I think that's pretty optimal for a tank fit.

Most usual enemy is minnie/gallente. Which is le suck for lasers. Your fit look interesting. If I'm able to strip some of the faction at least. I tend to get called away from the computer very fast, meaning in warp to gate, or other stuff like that. Which inevitably means I get ganked or die to rats. So cheap and easily replacable is the name of the game.

If I were to go without a prop-mod like the OP then I'd want max range at least. Remove 1 HS, add Tracking Enhancer, remove Cap Recharger add Tracking computer. Less EFT DPS, more actually applied DPS and can still perma-run its tank.

I really like this Apoc, though:

Painter is used for missions with lots of Elite cruisers, for the others Sensor-booster is better. Fits with AWU IV.

I use this for high-sec level 4s vs Bloods/Sansha. 733 gun dps and tank is enough for pretty much all the missions as long as you're killing them at a reasonable rate. Scorch gets out to 80km optimal which is nice but gets costly. Faction hardener is needed for cpu but those things are cheap.

So I'm seeing very little tank on these setups, do you guys find it to generally be enough?

Unless your skills are crap or you hit the triggers wrong, for level 4's it can tank enough.

If that's the case then i'll also have a rethink about my other fits, I've always gone LAR and 4x hardners but these fits have two or three ... food for thought

Scorch: 678 (69+12)

MultiFreq: 725 (23+12)

Tanks 347DPS (EM 50 Therm 50)
Speed 320m/s

Hardeners and drones depending on Mission

Much better DPS and cap stability that any beam fit without a booster
I'm weighing this fit up against my similar Abaddon (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=620 (http://failheap-challenge.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=620)) trying to decided which is best etc. please share opinions and experience on the matter

Not cap stable but it doesn't need to be. The 80km Scorch range is enough for almost anything. Melts stuff very quickly. I rarely use the AB; it's there for gates. Works fine for Sansha/Blood, which are about 95% of my missions. Wouldn't dream of using it against Angels.

How economic is it to use Scorch? I've always found that they burn out really quickly
