Gonna be tough, after Hummel and GW Panther, to get used to this baby. Especially with a long grind to the second gun.

Yea, its a beast. Its hard to play and makes you think about your moves minutes in advance. The complete lack of gun depression is another big change, and forces you to place your tank near the side of a hill so you can better go TD mode on things that may get close.

With 100% crew, Vent, Rammer, and Gun Laying Drive, it does play well. Just aim at spots of the map you know the enemy will be, or where they are currently playing peek-a-boo and you should be fine. And forget about shooting before your reticule has shrunk all the way. You need every ounce of accuracy you can get out of it. Especially once you get the Mars gun.

All said and done, you can get near 80% accuracy with that gun (including misses that deal splash damage). Very different play style from previous German Arty, and more similar in a way to Russian Arty.

fully upgraded its ok but still worst t7 arty.
due to insane xp requirements 9 out of 10 times gwtiger that you see in game = stock = useless if it is against m40 or 212.

I love the Hummel, not sure about fully upgraded Hummel being useless.

And happily, my GW Tiger was fully upgraded upong purchase, OTHER than the Gun Upgrade (Aye, it's like 70k exp for that).

We'll see, avg. a kill a fight (not good) thus far, but 2 wins vs. 1 loss in my limited test drive. 100%'d the crew, bought Camo till I can afford some real upgrades (Vent, Rammer, etc), so we'll see how it goes.

i did not mean in that way i meant gwtiger usualy gets paired vs object212 that always has best gun best gun object vs usualy stock gwtiger = around same usefulness as object 212 vs hummel ... in fact usualy i would prefere to have hummel over stock gwtiger ... and ofc object 212 is faaaar superior to hummel or stock gwtiger :)

Gotta be ammo rack.

Only way to pen Maus with HE is from the top, and you can't do that in TD mode. AP can't reach 2400hp.

Saw a E-100 at 70% HP on the slope of a hill attacking a T95 friend. The E-100 had a Maus and Pershing friend all playing peekaboo with the T95, so I opted to load my single AP round and see if I could score a hit. Aimed at the E-100, waited till he stopped moving, then shot....70% to 0%. Felt so smug after that.
