Recruitment re-opened for 10 US Timezone pilots.
By Ka Jolo, Founder:
The Tuskers, a lowsec pirate corporation, are currently recruiting. Check out our recruitment post (http://www.the-tuskers.info/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2) on our forums for detailed information. Peruse our killboard (http://tuskers.killmail.org/) to see what kind of action we get. Then join THE TUSKERS PUBLIC CHANNEL to get an idea how active we are during your playtimes.
But all of this begs the questions, “Why join the Tuskers over some other lowsec pirate corp? What makes the Tuskers different? What sets them apart?” Now don’t get me wrong; there are other fine pirate corporations in New Eden, and to be honest many of you will be happier with one of those other corps.
Finding a “keeper” corp in EVE-Online means finding a corp that matches your requirements as broadly as possible. Some of the factors that make the Tuskers Tuskers are just what some of you are trying to avoid, while many of the factors are shared with other corps; but I believe this list as a whole uniquely describes the Tuskers:
* Our focus is and always will be lowsec piracy. Pilots join our corp to be lowsec pirates; they won’t wake up one morning to find the leadership has gotten bored with that and is steering the corp in some new direction. Tuskers, including directors, who lose interest in lowsec piracy leave the corp rather than reshaping it. (Focusing on lowsec piracy does not mean we do lowsec piracy exclusively; we enjoy periodic forays into wormhole space, highsec suicide ganking, nullsec roams, etc.)
* It is highly unlikely that the Tuskers will ever be an elite corp of uber pilots; we’ve too few skillpoints, we’re too focused on piracy, and too willing to swallow bait. Nevertheless, we can do the best with who we are, and that we strive for—learning from our mistakes, sharing knowledge with one another, and paying attention. We may never be the best—but we aim for a reputation of excellence.
* Tusker pilots are competent on a level we consider minimal but which accomplished combat pilots in better-known corporations don’t always measure up to: Just to get into our corp, a pilot must have at least five solo kills under his belt, including at least two where the ship he killed was supposedly superior to his own. Some lowbie pilots go out and meet this requirement in their first week, while some nullsec warriors with thousands of fleet kills have turned away when confronted with this requirement.
* Tuskers like small gang roaming best. Some Tusker pilots prefer to solo, occasionally we’ll camp gates, and we’re not above the odd blob—but the action we most enjoy is small gang PVP where our tactics and wits most come into play.
* We don’t see ourselves as griefers. While we have no scruples when it comes to blasting ships, popping capsules, and extracting ransoms, we try not to be mean about it. We’ll offer up a polite “gf” no matter how lame your fit or no matter how large your blob. Tuskers don’t scam and don’t talk smack.
* Tuskers keep their word. If you pay us the ransom as agreed, we’ll let you go as agreed. If we say we’ll fight you 1v1 (which is against our policy), you can be sure our backup won’t jump in to gank you. And though in our efforts to kill you we may try to deceive you through our actions or through misleading statements, we won’t actually lie. If we say you’ll be safe from us ganging up with us, you will be.
* In spite of our no-griefing, no-scamming, no-smacking, no-lying policies, we make no claims for “honor.” We’re not really sure what that means in the context of New Eden. We do what we do and are what we are; some consider us honorable, others consider us lowlife scum. So be it.
* In addition to the ad hoc Tusker gangs that go roaming every day, we have prescheduled corp ops. This allows Tuskers to plan some of their game play for times when there is sure to be some action, and to prepare for those sessions in terms of ships, modules, and location.
* Beyond the recognition Tuskers may already gain through killboards, employment histories, and blogs (i.e. combat stats and skillpoints), the Tuskers awards decorations for actions that truly benefit the corporation: meaningful participation in campaigns, fleet command, providing logistical support, etc.
* Because we love combat so much, we have a “no blues” policy. We will not enter any alliance, though we do provide “protection services” and will set corps blue for a fee. If you want to be our friend and fly with us regularly, then for crying out loud join our corp.
* We all have working microphones and speakers or headsets and we all agree to use them and Teamspeak3 (or Ventrilo, Mumble or even EVE voice, depending).
* Tuskers post all their kills and all their losses, even killmails resulting purely from NPC action if the other pilot nevertheless shows up on the killmail.
* Only active pilots may be in the corporation. Tuskers who haven’t logged in for a while come back to the game to find they’re members of an NPC corp. Our membership is not inflated. However, since real life comes first, Tuskers who explain a temporary absence are afforded some grace.
* Tuskers must be self-sufficient, whether this means buying ETC’s for conversion into ISK, industrial alts, or sticking to cheaper ships. We don’t want our mates hitting us up for handouts. This is one reason we like ransoms so much.
* A big reason for joining any corp is for the enhanced enjoyment of the game that comes with the camaraderie of like-minded fellows. During the background check that’s part of our recruitment process, we do what we can to screen out pilots that won’t stick around to grow these kinds of relationships or who show evidence of undermining the foundation of such a family. (Examples include buying ISK with real money, lying to us, and having a history of corp thievery.)
* This is a corp for “mains,” so “alts” are not accepted unless the “main” is also a member. Tuskers should be Tuskers at heart, without higher loyalties to some other body in New Eden.
* So-called “real life” comes before internet spaceships. Attendance is not mandatory at our ops. We want Tuskers to join our ops and fly together in gangs because it’s fun and profitable, not as an onerous duty or second job.
* The Tuskers is a mature, family-friendly corporation. More than a few of us are middle-aged. Many of us have spouses and children. Even those of us who are not personally offended by vulgar talk don’t want the conversation coming through our speakers or popping up in chat to offend any families who may be within view or within earshot.
* Interestingly, The Tuskers seems to have attracted more than our fair share of bloggers (for what that's worth).

A few quotes from ex-Tuskers and people we've ran across:
Just adding a bit in my own words...
1. Lots of people say 'no blues' but Tuskers is one of the few places i've been where this is legit. Hauling alts are blue, that's it. We go and fly with other pirates occasionaly, when shared intel on a juicy target makes co-operation worthwhile, but 90% of the time even the guys we team up with are red and an hour later we'll be back to shooting each other.
2. It's a 'family friendly' place, this seems to put some people off. It basically means Tuskers is a place not plagued by teen retards yelling 'nigger' at each other all day. We still troll the shit out of each other, take the piss and generally arse about, just without the 4chan vibe.
3. We're active as hell, and live in a crazily busy area of low sec. I still can't get over the constant stream of varied targets in every direction within 10 jumps of home. Whoever says low-sec is dead is probably living in Aridia or some other desolate last saloon turd trough.
regards, Me.
The Tuskers are the absolute pro-est small ship roaming pirate corp
Every time I run into the tuskers they both act and fly very professionaly. Good fights whenever I go near their turf.
Tuskers are a class act (the exact opposite of lazy and lame) and I would surely rejoin if it wasn't for all the manlove I got for my current corp.
If you're considering going pie you should seriously consider them.
I ? Tuskers. Chill people to chat to, or to pew pew. I like visiting Hevrice and the surrounding area for this reason.
I'd bet flying with them would be awesome fun too.
I have had tons of fun with these guys, they never dissapoint and some of the very best solopilots comes from this corp!
fly dangerously, gl tskrs
Tuskers are cool.
Although not my cup of tea PvP wise have recommended these guys in the past to people less suitable to ourselves, and they're more than capable at what they do. GL guys
A few fights we've had in the last few months:
8 Tuskers fighting 32 Dark-Rising, backed up by multiple Carriers on their home station with shield Battlecruisers under sentries (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9258353)
10 Tuskers, 50 Militia. We jumped into them but they didn't go for us so we started separating them at multiple celestials. (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9067573)
8 Tuskers (+1 Ex-Tusker) against a 37 man neutral gang with 5 Blackbirds and a Kitsune. (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10324550) We killed some more next door, as well as losing one or two more Battlecruisers, so this Battle Report is kinda iffy.
Also, for the haters out there, we ganked the bejesus out of a group (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10377956) doing Class 5 Wormhole sites with Rooks & Kings, as well as members of Burn Away who found them initially. So many Guardians :S
At the moment we're currently looking for pilots who can contribute to our gangs, ranging from Black Ops to Armor fleets with Logistics. Pilots capable of pilotting Black Ops Battleships and/or of lighting Covert Cynos in particularly are wanted, to gank some gankers!

I'd forgotten the last thread was started by me >_<.
Good corp, I only left because I started to find solo/small gang pvp itself a bit boring, otherwise I'd still be there. Went to go see if i could get excited by massive scale 0.0 conflicts, but unsurprisingly that was a terrible idea. Now trying out WH life, which is much more interesting. I look forward to the ritual Intigo splerging itt

A fight we had last night (reposted from War & Politics)
================================================== ================================================== ==============================
The following fight takes place in Black Rise.
After being cockblocked by some T3s in a wormhole, we took a Shield BC fleet out - 6 Battlecruisers, along with a sole Scimitar. Setting destination to Black Rise, we decided to hit a few low sec entry systems to see if anyone was going on. Caught a few Battleships in Akidagi (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10400331) and then ran into a PODLA Tengu who decided to engage us in Martoh. We almost had him a few times (ex-corpmate who joined us in Vigilant was 1km off webbing him) but he got away. Then, in local:

Awesome, engaged targets! Initial intel is slightly off - they also had a Chimera, Scorpion Navy and Tempest with him.
We quickly reship (Vigilant -> Drake), get a decent warpin on the POS bashing fleet and start working through them. Initially, everything is going fine, we're carving through them fairly quickly, with the Chimera unable to keep the Battleships up under our DPS whilst our Scimitar is able to keep us all topped up nicely. At some point the Phoenix manages to warp off - with him being in Sieged Mode we're unable to point him when we land and with all the chaos going on we don't notice him moving until it's too late. The Chimera is kept tackled by our Drakes whilst we work through their support, eventually driving or killing them off.
Focusing on the Chimera now, we have him in half shields when their reshipped fleet comes back in - another Chimera along with a few Drakes, a Sleipnir and more Battleships. Swapping to their support again, we start going through them, albeit slower as some of our DPS is forced to warp off as our Scimitar has ran out of cap boosters after 18 minutes of fighting! As he grabs some more, we're still on the field, keeping them distracted with most of our fleet whilst two of our Drakes start looting - reporting that even the Scorpion Navy dropped just junk.
Soon, it's just the heavily tanked ships remaining - the Chimeras as well as a Drake or two and the Sleipnir. We swap to anti-drone duty, working on their Fighters etc. as we try to reduce their incoming DPS. Our Scimitar rejoins us and we go back on the offensive as more of their Battleships arrive - a few Megathrons as well as a Sniper Apocalypse at 100km as well as a Thanatos. Unfortunately, our Shield Harbinger gets scrambled by their Sleipnir and then by a Megathron and goes down (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10401457).
We take out their Apocalypse (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10401509) in return and start working through their softer support - their Cyclone for example. We're running low on ammunition, even for the Artillery Hurricanes and we're forced to loot from the enemy wrecks whilst keeping their fleet pointed. Our Drake gets scrambled (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10401547) by their Sleipnir, leaving us with only a few Battlecruisers and the Tengu for DPS. Our drones have all been popped at this point but we're still hanging on, dropping their faction fit Scorpion (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10401506).
We keep poking them, trying to see if we can break any of their tanks but after one of our Hurricanes lands ontop of them accidently, we withdraw, giving the traditional gfs in local as leave after nearly an hour on the field:
[ 2011.08.17 02:19:22 ] Alfaba > Go tuskers!
[ 2011.08.17 02:41:42 ] Alfaba > I like how your looting with drakes while the rest of the fleet fights

Not wanting to disappoint them, I considered our options whilst repairing two jumps out. Luckily, more Tuskers have logged on and are enroute. We get a neutral alt to Carrier down two Curses, one for myself and one for his main and then get another of our Drake pilots to reship to his Curse as well as a guy who lost his ship flying 16 jumps back to our HQ and then 16 back in his new Cane. At the same time, we're joined by a few podla guys in a Cynabal, Drake and Hurricane, giving us a gang composition of 1 Cynabal, 4 Battlecruisers, 3 Curses, 1 Scimitar and a Tengu to take on 3 Carriers + ~10 Support or so. I get in contact with the POS owner who was clearing us on and managed to get a status update on the shields - holding at 37% so they'll be there for a while since it's a Large POS.
Warping back in, we start smashing through their Battleships whilst focusing all the Curses on a single Chimera, keeping him to peak capacitor recharge. After a few minutes of making some headway, they bring in 2 Geddons and an Abaddon. With our Curses lacking multiple TDs and being neutted to hell by their EV-900 drones, they manage to alpha me from low shields (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10402488) and pop another Curse. Our Scimitar runs out of cap boosters and we disengage, after dropping what we can actually break.
We get some more reinforcements from other pirates we know who live close to our HQ whilst we stay on grid with the enemy fleet, 200km off or so. Once all of us are assembled, we warp to one of the wrecks at 0 and go for their Battleships with overheated close range ammo, but they warp off, leaving us with just two Geddons to kill. We hold the last one down and hope they'll back for him, but no luck and he starts Self-Destructing so we pop him. Local chat:

Final Battle Report (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10401547) - 28 kills for 4 losses (+1 Curse not on the killboard)
Thanks to PODLA for coming, as well as Sinners. gf gf!
Also, the POS owner sent us 200M for defending his POS, enough to reimburse all losses after we scooped the loot!

Had a decent two man roam (more like a mooching session) with homoman shouaa the other day. Got an ok fight out of a tempest and falcon (he came back after we popped his vaga).
BR (http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10562769) is a bit screwed but we killed his vaga first, then he came back out in a tempest and falcon alt (both of which we killed).
Was GF and seriously chilled =)

oh, also, since I have been flying primarily Gallente, doesn't that make *any* solo kill one where the opponents ship was not Gallente a superior opponent? I totally want credit for that caldari shuttle I solo'd. (i recently crosstrained for minnies, finally)

Our Black Ops roam earlier was pretty bad - we spent 4 hours and killed 3 Battlecruisers. We lost 3 Bombers to a pair of Artillery Hurricanes since most of our gang spawned in the Sun.

So, 100MN T3 are pretty overpowered. Really (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10745550), really (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10756657), really (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10757056), really (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10765425) overpowered (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10767462).
16 T3 killed this month so far, 35B destroyed so far. Come join in on the fun. We're looking for pilots who can fly Battlecruisers and are willing and eager to engage with daft odds like this (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10722465) and this (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10698238) for a chance of glory.
P.S. Low sec is dead! (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10760503)
P.P.S. Small gang PvP is also dead! (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10773011)

Recruitment closing at the very end of October since we're close to hitting our cap (100 active members)
In other news, we're up to 84B destroyed this month, including 28 or 29 T3 kills, including a pretty terrible fit Tengu I soloed in a Hookbill (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10862310), thanks to our new members for getting it that high so far. Hoping to get that up to 100B though!

We're nearly up to 92B destroyed this month - just 8B off our target of 100B.
In other news, Legionnaire soloed a Cynabal (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10895618) and an Huginn (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10892726) in two different encounters yesterday with his Artillery Hurricane in 0.0.
I then immediately took down a Proteus (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10895748) in my Drake.
He then retailated by soloing 2 Vagabonds (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10897038).

So I found a Naglfar bashing an offline POS today in Black Rise. I missed tackle the first time since he was aligned & out of siege, but managed to get it on the second attempt. Jumping up on comms (since I was soloing), I informed the rest of the guys of the situation and they made their way over in Battlecruisers, along with an single Taranis to scout the 10-odd jumps to the destination from Hevrice.
Luckily, an ex-Tusker was on and next door and he grabbed his Machariel as I held point single-handedly against the Naglfar and drove off the enemy support - a Myrmidon and an Oracle, assisted by assigned fighters from a Thanatos sitting on station.
Machariel landed, the enemy support disengaged as we kept the dread tackled. Keeping an eye on d-scan, I noticed a Hel had popped up. We thought these guys had supers but were pretty sure they wouldn't bring the Super on field to save a single dread. Except they did.
Well, it turns out after CCP removed their dronebays and left them with only fighter/fighterbomber bays, supercarriers really aren't a threat to sub-caps. We went after his fighters to take DPS off the Machariel and managed to pop ~10 in total before the Hel warped off in retreat from a single Drake + Machariel. Our backup arrived shortly afterwards and we started carving through the Nagflar.
When he entered armor, he initiated self destruct. Thankfully, he aborted it with ~30 seconds to spare so we actually got the mail (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12251762) as well as his shiny pod (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12251760).

Eh, one time, way pre-nerf, I was one of 2 proteus that cost the first Nyx I'd ever seen a few 100mil in fighters before we all got bored & left back through our WH. Not quite driving it off but with a logi we'd have tanked those fighters forever. Now that that's the best they can choose dps-wise, it's just to be expected unless they're sure you have no backup coming.

It won't take them long to start having an alt that can paint and web the shit out the target for the bomber wing. Eventually Nyx pilots will learn that they can bring in a pair of rapier alts and apply 5-10k dps to battleships.

Legionnaire re-joined us a few days ago. Since then, he's been on two roams, both to Tama with <6 man BC gangs.
On the first, we had a ~goodfite~ (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12701468) in Tama against the local residents, as they continuously reshipped as we fought outside a FW plex. Legion warped off then landed at 0 in his Cyclone and started brawling them down but succumbed to Geddon/Naga/Bunch of Drakes as the rest of us kept together 200-300km away. We should have dropped a Drake or two and a MWD Tengu but we did bad at pointing stuff, also damping Arazu is very annoying. :(
On the second, Legionnaire baited in top belt with his Drake, killed a Vengeance, then a 100MN Tengu engaged him, after a while he slingshotted him into web range and then we landed with Drake/Drake/Oracle/Cane and two volleyed the Tengu (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12717006), with Legionnaire warping off in half hull <3
Oh and Legionnaire was convinced the Tengu had ganglinks, so I probed down his boosting Loki, Cane got tackle and we all came in. Loki ejected so +1 Loki for us and a really bad day for that Tengu pilot.
After that we lost a Drake to BYDI due to an untimely DC in Heydieles, fought a Harbinger in a belt in Ouelletta and killed him, found out he had links, put bait in top belt and then I proceeded to probe down their booster whilst alt-tabbing to assist in the belt. We lost both Drakes but killed their boosting Loki as well as their Falcon alt (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12717601) (lol Falcon with no Amarr Jammers getting two volleyed by Pulses), so fair trade.

Oh I'm all for what you're doing attacking those with isk and no skill, more of a comment on the game mechanics that afaik it takes Virtues to get a maxed ratio T3 (or being able to drop probes very close to on grid with them, e.g. near gates?). Not that some of your kills were even halfway to that ratio.

You need at least a partial virtue set to get a 100% hit even if you launch your probes from the same grid as the target.

We took out another armor HAC gang, ended up fighting Beyond Divinity and their Alliance who were in Shield HACs. Gang comps were:
Tuskers:
1x Deimos
3 x Omen Navy
1 x Vigilant
1 x Stabber Fleet
3 x Oneiros
Logi heavy but we expected to fight a 20 man gang, mostly in Drakes
BYDI
5 x Zealot
1 x Falcon
2 x Rapier
3 x Arazu
1 x Taranis
1 x Stabber Fleet issue
1 x Curse
2 x Scimitar
Rather than describe what happened, our Deimos pilot frapsed the fight and put it on YouTube. Footage can be found here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFaOMjfBD50).
Killboard link is here (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12909546). Killboard is a bit messed up - we didn't lose anything so only the ships we killed appear on the side, plus some random Hurricane that died hours before to another gang. Also, two of our Logi forgot to deploy damage drones.
We're still new to flying this gang, so forgive any mistakes we made, there were definitely a fair few, but we're learning and (hopefully) evolving the gang composition.

We spent almost all of yesterday after downtime ganking things in high sec with destroyers. Total tally was:
Mining Barge VIII
Exhumer III
Hauler IIII
T1 Frigates III
Orca VI
Tengu III
Damnation (boosting alt in Arnon) (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13068791)
Nightmare (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13063408)
Total damage done was probably around 15B. We failed so bad - one Orca survived in 30% hull, two in half hull (one of them due to a pre-existing CONCORD spawn in the belt) as well as a Raven Navy that survived in 30% hull.
We frapsed a few of the kills + comms, but the only one up so far is the one where we ganked a Tengu. His pod had HG Crystals (but no Omega) as well as a few 6% implants. Tengu mail is here (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13064035), podmail here (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13063959).

Corp doctrine calls for a minimum of one linkboat and one falcon per ship at all times, with the number of falcons required increasing as a function of hull price.

Tuskers:
Probably the best corp in EvE.
Not neccisarily the best pvp corp in eve (if you think the two are same, you're an idiot), but in terms of:
doing what they advertise
corp atmosphere
scope for a player to develop
activity
stability
fun
you'd struggle to find a corp that out-does them in even half of that list. they're pretty open about what their day to day is, the only reason a succesful applicant won't find tuskers a good match is if they ignore what tuskers advertise themselves as and join expecting something else from a corp. they're Ronseal, 'does exactly what it says on the tin'.
why'd i leave? because i'm a chronic 'grass is always greener' guy, always will be :D let it be said that having tasted a lot of what eve has to offer, Tuskers grass is pretty damned green.

And yeah pretty much what Shiodome says is true. If you enjoy solo/small gang PvP, you'll have fun in this corp - we do small scale Black Ops, small scale Shield BCs, small scale Armor HACs (no silly AB HACs!) and small scale random stuff. We won't transform you into liking this kind of PvP, in which case you'll be better off applying to Snuff, Rooks & Kings or Shadow Cartel for "l33t" "medium sized" gang pvp.

if you can get people to aggress you instead of taking a hit then go for it. -sec status is all bad news and just a badly designed mechanic that does nothing but punish certain playstyles. but not helping a m8 out in a fight because of sec status is a non-starter for anyone tbh, just take thhe hit and rat it back up. seem to remember plenty of tuskers sec ratting when they had a specific need for positive sec status for a while.

We have no requirements at all regarding anything except that you follow our Code. IIRC we have at least 5 guys who are neutral (Tsubutai the bear, Cool "gaiz i have a carrier tackled ~35j away, come help!", Legion ~goodfites~, Behemoth ~cantwritesogood~ and a few of the newer guys).
However, if you roam with us, you will quickly lose sec status even if you don't pod anyone. We have no blues apart from alts + people who pay us protection (which is a very, very small number) so pretty much everything is fair game. IIRC one time Tawa went from -2 to -5 in a single roam which lasted ~3 hours (which is about the usual length of my roams) and wouldn't stop complaining about it.
The ones who keep it high either mostly pewpew in null + rat it up there by shooting rats on gates or do an obscene amount of missions (ala Tsubutai).

Yeah so we ended up with 1857 kills this month, 3 short of my goal :(
Still, ALMOST 60 kills a day. Which is 0.6 kills per member PER day.
Oh and I found an afk faction fit Cynabal with HG Slaves plugged in (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13519644). Our efficiency is too high :(

So, we took a few fast armour HACs out, 2 oneiros', a few diemosts, zealots, an ashminu and vagabond. Not forgetting our dear leader in a sacrilege.
A few jumps out and scouts report a 50man RvB osprey gang with light tackle, we assume RR and see about getting in there and blipping some things. We see they are chilling on the ingrate of a FW plex, we warpin at 100 and start pulling a bit of range, warpins are done but since it's considered a complex they warpin at 0 on the gate rather than on their inties.
They drop drones and start burning at us and our glorious leader baits them and they bite, their reps hold and the very anaemic dps they put out is repped from a single RR, the call is made to close in and BRAWL THEM DOWN.
Reps hold, no one drops below 95% armour and as we cycle targets and get dps in range the ospreys reps start faltering and they start to drop, about 10 ospreys down and they start to bail, points are spread and a few more go down as the rest leave.
http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13669557
GF RvB, thanks for bringing the fight.
We carry on the roam and head towards Tama and see some snuff guys hitting a poco in blops BSes, obvious bait is obvious and we kee moving, as we head out through reisato way scouts report a 12man drake/basi gang, 4 basi's, we get ready and end in engaging on a gate, it's tough breaking through the reps but a good combination of ashminus neuts and applied dps brings a curse down, an arty cane jumps in and joins the fray and is almost instantly melted due to minimum buffer and no resists. A stalemate is reached and they start to jump out, a last podla fit drake is melted just before they all deggro.
http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13670170
We head round ostingele and find no one else about and so head home.

Reposting BRs from Low Sec BR Thread:
Some people have been asking for more BRs/Videos of our Armour HAC gang, so here they are. We run both scheduled gangs and impromptu gangs. Scheduled tend to be bigger.
NOTE: Video quality is terrible, guy recording it didn't realise he was recording at half size than full size at the time, as well as not recording Mumble. Also note that it's been a week since the roams, so I'm going off the killboard + video as well as what I remember, this may not be 100% factually correct.
20th June (Scheduled roam):
Gang comp (10 in total) w/ Boosting Legion + Loki:
3 Deimoses
1 Sacrilege
2 Zealots
1 Ashimmu
1 SFI
2 Oneiroses
We head out from Hevrice. Not much going on in Essence apart from a FW frig/destroyer gang with a boosting Hurricane on OMS gate in Heydieles. Their scouts have spotted us, but surprisingly enough don't report it or something. We grab their boosting Hurricane (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13722327) as I force him into OMS.
We then head into Black Rise. It's relatively quiet until Pynekastoh, at which point one of our scouts spots another Caldari FW gang in Oinasiken, about 18-20 strong with 4-5 BCs but mostly Cruisers and below. Surprisingly enough, they seem willing to fight so we jump into them and oblige. Our Ashimmu at one point drops to 20% armor before he overheats his Hardeners/Logi overheat reps/links go up. We chew through 4 of their BCs while Marram decides to go "SOLO PVP WARRIOR" on their tackle in his Zealot.
Fraps - start at 2:08 to avoid watching some fight in Syndicate which was basicially us warping in on -FA- blackopsing some Minmatar BC gang and killing both of them.
NOTE: not terribly exciting, doesn't RECCM anyone and he doesn't shoot the primary:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBUgVRERLRY&hd=1
After that it's pretty quiet so we head back early, ganking a Shadow Cartel Tengu (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13723948) running a plex along the way despite him telling me (on my alt, who he knows) that he can see my probes. Plex drops ~300M iirc.
21st June (Impromptu Roam):
Gang Composition (originally) w/ Boosting Legion + Loki:
2 Deimos
2 Zealots
1 Ashimmu
1 Stabber Fleet Issue
1 Retribution (serious)
2 Oneiroses
Running around Essence again, scout finds a small FW gang in Abune on the Heydieles gate with a Hurricane, 2 Taloses and a Falcon, along with a few other things. The two Deimoses (me and Smoke, the guy frapsing) jump into them whilst the rest of our gang is making the ~70 AU warp. I decloak first to grab aggro, Smoke decloaks a second after. Falcon focuses all his jammers on me, so I call for Smoke to put his RECCM onto me instead of the logi so I can whore on killmails. Doesn't work :(. Just as we finish mopping up, gate fires behind us and a known boosting Loki jumps in, whose main is in a corporation that rarely fights us. We continue looting as the gate continues to fire as their gang jumps in with:
1 Arazu
1 Huginn
1 Drake
1 Hurricane
1 Tornado
1 Oracle
1 Naga
1 Rapier
3 Cerberuses
2 Scimitars
After a few seconds to get my bearings and form up on me, we charge in after one of their Scimitars who is off the gate. Alas, both of our webbers (SFI + Ashimmu) are unable to web down their Scimitar who turns out to be AB fit, due to our Ashimmu being assigned to neut their Scimitar on the gate at 0 and our Stabber Fleet being webbed to hell. They primary our Ashimmu who stabilises at 50% armour, then swap to our Stabber Fleet who goes down to 20% armour at one point. Their AB Scimitar makes a mockery of our DPS, so we swap to their Hurricane as I keep getting jammed by ECM Drones. I call for RECCM, Smoke obliges and we break through the Hurricane, followed by the Naga and then back onto their Scimitar as our webbers are finally free. They leave after that.
Fraps of the entire engagement:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgnHLzKdd7c&hd=1
After that, we dock in Heydieles and take a break. During so, I spot Hidden Snake (well known Caldari FW FC, tends not to fight against the odds) baiting on OMS gate in Heydieles with a Nighthawk, with him having 5-6 random ships + a Falcon on the other side of the gate, which seems a bit low to engage us. We receieve intel from a corpmate's buddy that the rest of Hidden Snake's gang is chilling in Ladistier on the OMS gate - 2 jumps from us. We get our own eyes and see they have 3 Basilisks, 3-4 more BCs and another Falcon. This is a bit much for only 2 Logi - they have enough DPS that they'll shred our SFI/Ashimmu if they don't get repped continuously, which is unlikely given their 2 Falcons. We start poking people and get 2 more people in a Deimos & Oneiros to head down from Hevrice, only 5 jumps away.
Once we're all re-united, we sit on the Indregulle gate in Heydieles. Hidden Snake brings his gang in and we cross warp each other a few times. After the first time, I realise this is a bad position for us, as we want our Logi at range to stay away from their DPS + neuts. We warp back to the Indregulle gate at 0 as they vacate it, Oneiroses burn away from the gate we were at (past the stargate) as their gang lands on our heels.
We primary their Tornado, he jumps through the gate. We focus our DPS onto one of their Brutixes who drops. Our Ashimmu attempts to distrupt their Basilisks cap chain, but their neuts (from their Canes + Cyclone + probably others) end up keeping him capped out, with his Hardeners going off sporadically. At one point, he drops to 84% hull before reps are overheated on him to bring him back. As we reduce their DPS by dropping their Tornado as he jumps back into us, followed by an Hurricane, they start disengaging. Their Omen drops fast and I manage to bump their Cyclone off the gate as his gang warps off/jumps through the gate. BR is here (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13731957). Disregard Drake kill - he was a gank from earlier.
Smoke appears not to have recorded the above fight unfortunately.
We gank 2 Tengus in Indregulle (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13732512) that our reinforcements spotted en-route to us as we head home.

Yeah was pretty funny. I scouted that Abaddon smartbomb camping using the Snuff method (off grid smartbombing), launched probes and tackled him with my refitted 3 Scrambler Drake. When my corpmate's Tengu landed, the rest of his gang (who I had seen very briefly with probes) landed - Cynabal, Myrmidon, Drake, Dominix, Dominix, Jaguar, Harbinger, Hurricane, Falcon & Rook. We pulled range and tried to burn down the Jaguar but failed due to me not having any webs and him only having a long point (and thus not committing to tackling us). Lack of webs & no Invuln meant I was getting dazzled, so I started deaggroing on field then warped to the station, docked up and refitted.
I came back at a fairly harsh 90 degree to their gang's movement and ~90km off my friendly Tengu when i warped to him at 50, so we kind of moved towards each other as I lead the Cynabal out ~100km from their Recons who were almost keeping us perma-jammed. He had a web, which was kind of troublesome as it let their BCs slowly catch up to me but we dropped him before that became a serious concern. We started working on their Myrmidon, dropped him just after we lost point then drove off the Falcon & Rook multiple times until we got the Rook down, leaving just the Domis on grid, who turned out to be spider tanked. We slowly grinded them down, but discovered that we could only break their tanks if we were both putting DPS on them, a tricky task considering their Falcon kept warping at 100 and jamming us for a cycle or two then warping off + the Domis launching ECM drones. Eventually they warped a new wave of BCs onto us as well as a Phantasm, Ishkur, Stabber & Scimitar. We dropped the Phantasm but I had to warp shortly afterwards due to constant Drake missile spam, once again deaggroing on the field before warping off.
When I returned we killed the Stabber, put their hero Jaguar in half hull (he must have docked like 5 times) before he pulled range & I got jammed with most of them warping off. Tengu grabbed one of their Dominixes and we had him in half armour as they warped back in. This time they successfully managed to disengage their Battleships by pushing us away with their Drakes & tacklers, but we managed to catch a Harbinger as ~goodfites~ filled local.
Fight lasted at least 35 minutes from start to end, with the Tengu never warping off. If the fight had dragged on for another 10-15 minutes, we would have had to disengage from cramp from constant manual piloting I fear.

Followed by a series of ~goodfites~ in Evati, including fighting some anti-pies with Armour Proteus/Sleipnir/AC Tornado vs ~15 T1 Cruisers with 4 Oneiroses. We couldn't break even their Rifter (Tornado never could get a solid shot on him), but we waited until they fought a Nulli Secunda Shield BC gang before swooping in and killing their boosting Loki - http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=14166390.

Sa'haira in his noble Catalyst tries to kill Tornado, turns out Tornado has a web so he dies. I come in with my Daredevil, kill the Nado just as an ASB Brutix warped in. I had him in hull when I ran out of Antimatter, contracted ammo to a R1thah guy flying around whilst I used Iridium to kill their Atron.
By the time I got the ammo, an Arbitrator had landed, Sa'haira returned in a Thorax and died in a blaze of glory under sentry guns (my bad :() whilst I was killing drones.
Oracle landed, I swapped to him hoping he was glass cannon fit, but he had an solid armour tank. When he entered low armour, I was driven off by a Coercer landing who quickly put me in hull. Managed to get 25km off him and plink away with Iridium but my point burnt out as he hit half hull. Incursus returned & Siva helped me kill him.

We got ~2.2B worth of loot/salvage from this fight, with another ~1.2B from a 6/10 we stole off a duo Tengu gang on the way back home.

Nice.
Though I expected better from SS. than t1 rigged Guardians when there's blinged T3s on the line... :|

they haven't been loosing many ships with what they've got so haven't really needed to spend the extra. the t3 gang and HAC gang have clashed a few times (never not take fights!) and afaik this is the first time the brave little HACs have come out on top.

We've fought them once before and ended up coming out of that badly - we lost half our gang (10/20ish) for no kills - did manage to drop their ECM Tengu to hull though. In that fight they had the complete advantage though - 4 Guardians vs 3 Oneiroses, overall numbers were the same, but they had Tech3s instead of Tech2s.

Yeah pretty much. Ideally nearly all our DPS ships should be Sacrileges + Deimoses (Sacrileges do slightly more DPS & have better tank/utility, but Deimoses have bigger drone bays and use turrets), with 1-2 Zealots for anti-support.
Also PvE roams FTW <3
Will be organising bi-weekly roams again after Frigate FFA on 5th January if anyone wants to come along.

dont bother with the hac gangs.
check our recruitment post for some fights in t1 cruisres. do exactly the same thing but bring more augorors than you would bring oneiros or guards. you get more tank but LOLT1CRUISERGANG gets you so many fights

We've been using Tech 1 Cruiser gangs as well (had a nice 15 vs ~30 Eve Uni) but the issue is that the much lower EHP of the Tech1 Cruisers limits your engagement range as your cruisers start getting alphaed whereas the HACs would hit low armour then get repped up immediately.

1600 plates are where its at.
i find the ability to leeroy my fleet into anything and not worry about its cost is awesome =)

Even with 1600mm plates the buffer on all of them is significantly lower than HACs. But yeah, them being cheap as chips is pretty awesome - towards the end of the Eve Uni fight SOTF + Suddenly Spaceships showed up in a Tier3 / Macheriel & Tempest Fleet gang and we just kept fighting as "lolTech1Cruisers" was still strong, at least until they started alphaing our support :(

It is spelled "Poopandpee" but the pronunciation is different, it is pronounced "Fag-git"

this is the first good idea W0lf has had, i'd be totally up for this. as long as you could reapply with the '5 solo kills' (which you'd have to get after being kicked imo) and 4 vouches.
make it so.

meanwhile back in Hevrice (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=16330376)
That is 5-6 different fights, individual or pairs of frigates brawling.
A proteus is spotted in system and a suspected bear, so we start probing, they were going belt to belt with half a dozen destroyers and bombers in system too, we grab some ships and go for it, getting tackle on a few destroyers in a belt, more trickle in but get blapped as they land, then the grand prize comes in, the proteus, we get tackle and Rixx goes and swaps out for a HAM drake for DPS, some bombers decloak but are turned into scrap in short order by my cynabal. We continue to melt down support and an others trying to jump in on the fight, then finally getting the proteus (http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16330376), yes that's two x-type em hardeners and a huge explosive hole.
The next big fight was with the SC guys anabaric and rebelskull, they are spotted chasing some FW guys around next door then they jump into Hevrice. The SFI warps to station followed by the rupture, they red box on Rixx and I take my ashimmu out as its perfect to get the SFI, we know anabaric likes his dualrep fitSFIs and he has links in system, so 90% webs and neuts should cause some trouble for him. The SFI comes into tackle range and I lock him down, neither of their ships do enough DPS to be a major cause for concern, so we hammer on the SFI and he gets some good reps in but eventually goes down, anabaric mentions that he forgot about the 90% web bonus this ship has. The rupture has burned off station and Rixx has chased him and somehow kept point in his drake :psyduck: I burn after them, and the rupture, I think, has a big derp moment and comes into web range, he didn't want that speed anyways, then is quickly dispatched.

http://droog.rwpcomputers.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=43410 then we nearly botched a smartbombing run since no one had done it before. Luckily i managed to snag two 700 mill pods to save the efficiency and kill a tuskers pod:
