Title.

Basically i need to get a printer to my door for the cheapest possible i literally don't give a shit about inks or quality or even any scan/photocopy capability. i just need a printer that will work on windows 7 and be as cheap as humanley fucking possible.

ive had a quick look round and i remember selling HP printers for liek £15 in an old job, but cannot find anything like it anymore, not even any second hand ones. If anyone knows where i can get one that works (dont care if its brand new) then let me know asap.

all its basically for is to print out a UPS label so i can get my laptop sent away, and also print out stencils for the T-Shirt so i can trace them onto card.

And so on.

Avoid laserjet 1100's, 6Ps are built for eternity.

Try one of the larger Asda stores, they usually have cheap printers. The Ink may cost you more than the printer itself.

I have an old laserjet1000, a good 10 years old, maybe more. It is awesome, fast and an Amazon Basics refill toner costs €20 for 2000 pages.

Foobs you gonna get raeped. Sure you can get a dirt-cheap printer, but they make their money on the cartridges...

And the dried out ink won't jam the printer heads when you're not using it for a month rendering the printer useless.

Indeed, I barely print, if I do it is always somewhere between 10 to 100 pages at once, and it never failed me. A duplex unit would be cool though. Ever since they replaced the copy machines at the uni with new ones, I sometimes print there just for the hassle free duplex mode. (replaced old huge ass océ machines with new océ machines with usb port, network printing, scan to usb)

Seriously, what could have been the cheapest one? This time to consider, of course, stuff of what makes the printer of today.. considering the ink (http://www.inkjetsuperstore.com/) refills, cartridges "life span", etc.. Let's have a plain printer not the all in one..

errr...if you only need one or two printouts, why not put the files on an usb stick, walk to the nearest internet cafe (or copy shop) and print it out there?

unless i'm missing something :P
