Computer is working great in games, applications etc.

I have 2 SSD installed. 1 for OS and 1 for games.

Also have 2 other normal HDD`s.

But whenever I`m going into my HDD`s it seems they need a few seconds to "wake up". When it`s passed that stage everything works as normal.
I can hear them starting to rev up, but until they have done their 2-3 sec warmup, they are unresponsive.

I also have TS3 installed on one of them, and if TS interface hasn't been used in a while it can freeze up for a few sec. Although the TS itself is working
great.

Normal? Is there some "sleepmode" button I can uncheck. Powersaving crap going on?

Or just me being spoiled with SSD's?

Windows 7 turns your HDDs off after a few minutes (default is five iirc). It's annoying as fuck but you can disable it (screensaver options > alimentation options). TS3 is working with stuff in RAM I guess, it hangs as soon as it needs something on the hdd.

Same happens to me. Don't install programs on your HDD. And yeah go into control panel -> power management -> set to high performance or whatever.

SSD = for programs.
HDD = for data.
