If it had been managed properly we would've had the same result (a fixed match) but instead would've been left with people trolling/theorising about "since 0utbreak and HYDRA are so close, who thinks X threw it?". It was... nice of him to tell me in advance. That said, since it was so fucking obvious after the fact, I would not have honoured that, especially since they did a big post about it. I wouldn't expect anyone to think less of me if I'd done that.

No, the reason I was pissed was:

1) that was my bet to do. He shouldn't have interfered.

2) It was BORING. If they were going to do this, and they did, they were going to blow all the ships up anyway - at least make it fun to watch. At the least, surely *have a fight*. You've already won the ships between you regardless; why flounder about being stupid? Have some *fun* as well - have a ~~good fight~~ about it

3) It ruined it for CCP who had put a lot of effort in to it.


Don was not a bad guy for telling me, but he shouldn't have said anything tbh. I was willing to pay out on a fair match; but this was so obviously not fair that I wouldn't have.
