I have managed to pick up a copy of the Black Crusade introduction adventure, and like I did for the Deathwatch sessions I ran a while back, I'm willing to run this mission so we can all get a taster of the upcoming title.

The rules and game mechanics are all the same as Rogue Trader, Deathwatch & Dark Heresy so if you've played those then you're in the money. I'm looking for FOUR (4) people willing to give this try, previous RPG experience nice but not required. I'm sure there'll be more than 4 of you interested so I can run two sessions if need be. If you're worried about Space Marines and Humans in the same game, then rest assured they're suitably balanced. Astartes in this game don't seem anywhere near like the obscenities you can generate in Deathwatch.

When to play? Not 100% but to avoid conflict with my Rogue Trader and Deathwatch games (which are 3 weeks behind schedule :( ) I'd like to play on a week night with a ~7pm start which should allow a good 3-4 hour session. Post what days you'd be available to play plz.

The characters:

Asrodel the Fated: (http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/wolfeg/1308436231199.jpg) A Chaos Marine with a compulsive desire to become the ultimate warrior. This guy would bring a gun to knife fight, then use it when he starts losing. Which is incidentally exactly what got him evicted from his previous warband.

Nina Black: (http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/wolfeg/1308436305615.jpg) Daughter of a powerful rogue trader. When her father died, her two brothers gained the warrant and the fortune, leaving her penniless. A daemonic pact saw the elder brother immolated by warpfire in his own bed, but the second escaped. Now the brother and the sister strive to hunt each other down and exact vengeance.

Ciro: (http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/wolfeg/1308436478562.jpg) An Alpha Legionaire, devoted to the overthrow of the Corpse-Emperor but can at times be overconfident.

Hephastius Bore: (http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/wolfeg/1308436635177.jpg) A tech-priest who experimented on warp-spawned mutants, even grafting daemon flesh onto others and himself. He honestly believes in his research and regrets his actions somewhat. Even though the Mechanicus handed him over to the Inquisition, he harbours no ill-will towards them.

Also I realise there are two bonuses characters on the FFG website but for now I'd like to ignore those and focus on these four.

So post when you could play and your preferred character please!

The deathwatch one was so much fun, I'd love to join in with this but I'm just too busy at the moment. I look forward to reading the write up though.

Over Teamspeak like we did for the Deathwatch sessions. My Mumble server only holds 10 people bit if someone else has a TS3 server to play on that would be cool. So far I think its:

I think we miss only the weapons at the start so i am the best armed one with my awesome techpriest skills.

Regarding the "You do not start the mission with this equipment" sentence on the character sheets:

All your characters have been captured by the Inquisition and placed into stasis aboard a prison ship, your equipment, weapons and armour were stripped during your capture, who knows where they are now. Eventually you are released from statis, but something isn't right...or maybe something is right. As your stasis capsule opens there are no Imperial handlers present...just an eerie silence and a dark cell.

You sure? I'm looking right now and I only see the character sheets for the World Eater and Psyker (instant disqualification because she looks like Cultist-chan).

Edit: Fuck it, I don't mind playing tonight, its not as if I have anything else to do other than rage at Tanks. My Mumble, ~7pm GMT, bring own beer and dice. If we finish it tonight, then I can run it again tomorrow night for those who missed out!

No-one said its his real name. Sofia introduced himself as Alpharius anyway.

If enough people are interested I can run another session next week, my schedule this evening has changed so I won't be able to GM tonight. Since three of the four who wanted to play did play then I guess its NBD.
