Would someone be able to pm me the best way to swap between EU and US clients? I am doing the following so far, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I have two copies of the client in different directories.
I change lol.properties from the following text

Anyway, Tron - i have no idea about swapping but i would just download both clients separately and install them in two different folders. That way you will never need switching anymore and can swap between clients in seconds. Shouldnt take you long.

I swap files and do it this way:

- make shortcut on desktop to: 'wherever LoL is installed' > Riot Games > LoL > RADS > system

- make two folders on desktop: 1) 'LOL EU' 2) 'LOL US'

- copy the files 'launcher' and 'system' and put them in 'LOL EU' folder and 'LOL US' folder

- modify the txt of files in 'LOL US' folder to be 'na' instead of 'eu'

- when u want to play LoL, decide which server u want to play. Copy cntents of relevant folder, paste into the system folder u made a shortcut for replacing files.

Pro tip, you don't need two seperate clients to switch between US + EU

1. Find your League of Legends folder in C:\Riot Games\League of Legends then go into RADS and then into System folder
2. Open system cfg file in notepad and change where it says Region=NA/EU to the opposite one depending which server you wish to connect to
3. Go back to the system folder and open launcher cfg file in notepad and change the bottom line: airConfigProject=lol_air_client_config_na or eu depending which you wish to go on

Save it all and then start League Of Legends

You can make this easier by making a shortcut to the system folder on your desktop, admittely it might be easier to have two seperate clients but for people like myself who it just doesn't want to work and makes neither client work, this is probably the better choice 8-)

There is also the ACE client. Just google for ACE client. You can switch between US/EU and it has a couple of neat other features. The only problem is that it is a bit slow on the updates, so you might not be able to play after a patch for 1-2 days. Solution: Keep both clients around!

I don't like AD TF, but if you're going to do it, yeah, that's pretty much it. Trinity Force is reasonable on him if you've got the farm. I still think he's just too constrained by that attack range to be viable as an AD champ.

iirc I generally go doran's (or boots+3), SOTD, CDR boots (CDR boots are just epic on TF I really can't state that enough), InfiniEdge, Bloodthirster, Banshee's Veil, Triforce if the game's not over.

Mostly he is a tank with solid CC and the ability to wade into a group and pick someone out to focus. His R gives him ridiculous survivability.
On the other hand, he has some beautiful AP ratios and a mechanic for doing consitant AOE damage based off of that AP, so its possible to build him as a bursty nuker, using the R to stay alive but eschewing any real tank items.
Its certainly a fringe build, and not what i'd expect to see on most alisters, but it seemed to work in a skilled players hands.

He is a tank/CC dispenser, but if you stack AP/sheen he is surprisingly bursty. Idealy you don't have enough money to really stack up on AP (because your buddies get all that gold), but if you find yourself with too much gold for some reason getting a sheen+some more AP is a good way to scare some squishies.

First time Morde (since like level 6, am now 30): 13 / 1 / 11.

I started regrowth + pot, rushed Rylais then got boots. Finished FoN and then started on Abyssal before I realized I probably should have gotten a soulstealer (at around 8 kills). Finished SS at 10 kills and never got to finish Abyssal.

Any tips? Or is that a decent build order?

Runes were MP marks, 2x MP quints, CDR blues. I spent far too much IP on champions before level 20, so now I am making up for it in having shit for runes.

I also used a 9/21/0 page, thinking that the def was a good idea.

I do 9/0/21, Health Pendant -> Boots -> +40 Rod -> Rylai's -> Sorc Shoes -> Rabadon -> Force of Nature -> Tank Items

Ignite + Flash. Get into the habit of launching ult with Ignite, nice DoT burst for a few seconds that, if you do it at the right time (judgement call that you have to learn) will get you kill + ghost.

Had a game with a Cho who decided that he was going to feed 24 times because I wasn't a team player as Morde. He pushed too far and then got raped in the face by an Ori and Morde. Exhausted and then slowed by Ori's machine thing and eventually died just past the tower because of ignite.

Also, wasn't a team player because I don't have a stun or a slow. Unfortunately I am not able to get a Rylai's by level 2.

AP TF has BETTER farm than AD TF by an order of magnitude. Red card + wild cards kills all minions with a little bit of AP. Your last hitting will be a little bit shaky level 1/2 but past that you're golden - you can always abuse blue card for extra damage on last hits (you can do it on AD TF too but you get extra last hit damage from AP).

He's about the ultimate current example of tankydps. Huge amount of CC, decent burst and an ult that means he just fucks off any incoming damage.

Lichbane gives a stronger burst if you get a lot of AP, but tri gives you a lot more statswise overall.

Ghostblade is a decent item on tanky DPS but triforce is just the winrar atm.

I live near Milton Keynes (pretty shit place in the country for outdoor climbing!) have started going to a climbing/bouldering wall there in the last couple of months. I used to climb when i was at uni, but haven't for a few years so getting back into it. Have always been sporting (lots of football, cricket etc all year round) couple of injuries (notably knee) have made me decide to give up sport and throw myself into climbing!

Also go to a bouldering place in Stoke-on-Trent and a wall in Stockport - have got mates up there who i visit once or twice a month.

How about you? climb much and live where?

Out of the lab, boulder to music for a few hours, back home for a curry, out for drinks at 9.30ish.

Reminds me of the game I had last night, although mostly because my team were the opposite to yours, in that they were eerily silent. I was jungle Amumu, MF top, Annie mid, Ashe and Malz down south vs Morde, Ashe, Brand, Jax and Malz. By the time I'd killed blue, we were 0-3 down, top and bottom lane both trying to overreach and getting ganked in response. Considering the most they'd said all game was "Malz mid?" and "No", I wasn't exactly confident. Then, it happened.

I got to lvl 4 and grabbed bandage toss. Jax and Ashe were pushing our top lane hard, but MF had learned her lesson and was hugging our tower at half health. She'd whittled down Ashe enough that Ashe was pulling back just as I came up the river. Bandage toss, caught her and ganked. Jax tried to save her, but got shot in the back by MF. I then went straight to mid and managed to grab Brand who was pushing our mid tower. I held him down long enough for Annie to get a further stun and he died.

I popped back to base, started building sunfire cape and went about my merry way. Jax and Ashe went straight back to hard pushing top, so I went for another gank. Tantrum double kill, oh yeah! We'd gone from 0-3 to 5-3 in 3 minutes. It snowballed from there, I just had too much tank and level advantage that they couldn't get past me before our carries murdered them.

The thing about that game is that I felt like I'd played my perfect game, I was the only tank, yet still held the enemy team in position and popped my ult at the perfect moments, we dominated every team fight bar one, thanks to my teammates following in on my initiations. Unfortunately, it now means I'm guaranteed to suck the next game I play :(

Wards are getting Changed - Can't target them with certain spells. Addressing wards being used as a blocker for skills such as Rammus' Powerball or Blitzcrank's pull.

Experience and Gold getting worked - Killing Streak is going to get nerfed. EXP gain is going to get boosted to compensate. Addressing snowballing, mitigates players with large bounties avoiding large teamfights. Also changed to address level differentials.

Gold per 10 change - Making them Unique per item. Made to address stacking of items regardless of champion role.

Life Steal and Spell Vamp getting worked - ???

Shields getting reworked - Life Steal, Assists and skills proc off shield.

Rumble Ult - CD going up, AP ratio going down.

Vayne - HARD NERF. Lowering DMG output on q, other nerfs to skills. Pulling her away from Assassin role more to Carry.

Vlad - Q getting changed. Early ranks have more damage. Rank 5 will go down in damage, CDR will go up 1 sec.

Jarvan - Lowering passive and his flag.

Evelynn - Losing Stun from stealth, changed to slow.

GP - remade passive. 3 Stack slow/DMG passive.

Fiddlesticks - Increasing damage on Dark Wind. Buffing AP ratio on crowstorm +0.1. Channel duration dropped on Crowstorm.

First of all, she picks and instalocks mf, claims mid during char select. Thats fine I guess, but then:
As our jungle Nunu was moving into his jungle (via mid lane), she immediately starts screaming

League Champion Kayle was discovered early this week to be the victim of a withering curse specifically designed to limit her power upon the Fields of Justice. The Judicator, after seeking the assistance of Institute officials, has returned to the League with renewed strength and fully re-enchanted armor. The culprit behind the withering curse remains unknown.

According to Institute officials, the discovery of the curse follows a notable decline in the Judicator's performance on the Fields of Justice. Kayle had suffered a decrease in popularity with summoners in the past months due to her poor showings in League matches. "I often found it difficult to draw forth the Judicator's full potential I once knew her to be capable of," said one summoner. "I imagined there to be a reason for her troubles, but I would have never suspected sabotage or magical interference."

"I had not felt like myself for quite some time. It began shortly after the contagion warning at the Institute two months ago," said the Judicator herself. "I only realized something was amiss when I discovered cracks in my armor after a match this week. I love Kayle, she was one of the first characters I bought and I spent months thinking she was useless, but I went back to her recently and IMO she's not all that bad. I usually build damage on her and play like a carry with the support spells as a bonus - the ratio on her heal is less than half of Nidalee's (0.5 vs 1.25), but I still see people rush Archangels + Deathcaps. She benefits a lot from AS, CDR and mp5 so I usually get Nashor's tooth after my 2 philos (unless I'm in a solo, which is usually bad, because I don't think Kayle's great on her own). Getting the Stinger part early makes your spankings with E hurt a lot more but the Codex is better if you're in a hard lane and need to heal more often. After that I go Rageblade, Gunblade then some survivability if the game lasts that long, usually a Banshee's but I think I've bought Zhonya's a couple of times against AD heavy teams.

In a teamfight I find her one of the more difficult champions to play. All her cooldowns are quite short so you have to keep track of a bunch of different things: who needs slowing, who needs your speed buff and/or heal, who needs to be ulted and when, and on top of that you're autoattacking, so if you let your E run out Kayle suicidally soars in to ineffectually slap your target in melee range. The last one's not such a problem later game once your E is maxed and you have 40% CDR because the cooldown is only a hair longer than the spell duration, but early on it's a pain in the arse.

Shes fun, pretty much the premier facemelt single target rapemobile, and entirely shit as soon as someone brings an AOE stun/snare to the party, as you have less health than an AA meet. One of my favourite champions though, as she can harass pretty damned hard at lvl6.

Make sure you have enough mana the moment you ding lvl6. Use q - mimic q with r - w flash onto him - try to hit him with e. Dont forget to add ignite on top if you took it (you should).
If your e landed, try to stay in range for the stun, your q cooldown will come up shortly if it still wasnt enough to finish him.
Thats your basic burst combo, its what you will be using for most of the game. In situations where you want to be on the safe side just use q, wait a second for the projectile to reach the target, then launch e. That leaves your r open for a double w flash, which should get you out of virtually any trouble. Just dont accidentally hit w again, after the first w activation hitting r will act as if you hit w for the first time.

Item build is catalyst, sorcboots+mejais (getting stacks should be no problem as the prime assassin unless you are losing badly), rabadons, void staff. Upgrade catalyst to BV if you die to stun-burst, nice alternatives to void staff are deathfire grasp (activate it as early as possible, it deals % current health afaik), zhonyas (more survivability), the tenacity AP item might also be worth considering if a lot of cc gets thrown around.

e: Key to being successful is activating the skills fast enough in the correct order, so USE SMARTCAST. I personally put all 3 skills on smartcast, although landing w correctly is the tricky part until you have a feeling for its range.

The thing WW is his Q and passive don't count as spell vamp or lifesteal, but a heal instead (it was affected by ignite, SV wasn't)

He already gets the SV Q buff as is.

SV gives you some more HP, increased Q heal + passive, and a small amount of MR and CR.

Wits end gives some some decent MR, AS (thus boosting heal via passive), some magic damage and a big boost to your ult (+210 magic damage).

I'm still standing on the side of the Wits end tbf.

Right now you get 20% off your base damage, before resistances. So hit Alistar, hit Taric or hit ashe, it didn't really make a difference. Now it its 25% of your final damage after resists. You wont be healing shit off Taric or Ali.

Because having critchance without AD is just terrible (cf PD rush on Trynda), 1 Avarice can help you get started but you really need to rush that IE to deal significant damage with parrley crits

Pretty much only Jarvan can get away with 'lol lots of g/10 items and I win' because he's strong early game ANYWAY, just needs a few stats to carry him through midgame, and then rapes face lategame because of all the gold. Gangplank is piss-poor early game (hence the 'carry' tag) and really needs to farm like a boss to be worth a shit. Basically, he DESPERATELY needs that infinity edge AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and should have no trouble whatsoever getting it because he has a last hit tool that gives extra gold. Yes you'll have 60% crit chance...on a base AD of around 90. Imagine if that was a 27% crit chance on AD of around 165 with extra crit damage? Now we're getting somewhere.

3) He's like all melee 'carries', pointless at high level/serious play. Doesn't stop him being FUN, which he really is.

People compete with their teammates for last hits and buffs, steal kills when they can... then they get caught entirely by surprise by the occasional opposing team that actually has a team comp that let the carrys farm and get fed.

This is how i'm switching between US + EU, the whole dual client thing was having a cry with me too but this works for myself and several buddies aswell

1. Find your League of Legends folder in C:\Riot Games\League of Legends then go into RADS and then into System folder
2. Open system cfg file in notepad and change where it says Region=NA/EU to the opposite one depending which server you wish to connect to
3. Go back to the system folder and open launcher cfg file in notepad and change the bottom line: airConfigProject=lol_air_client_config_na/eu depending which you wish to go on

Save it all and then start League Of Legends, remember you need a different account for both servers...

You can make this easier by making a shortcut to the system folder on your desktop, it would be easier to try and get two different clients but it doesn't take much effort to switch a few letters around on 2 files really, plus you save the space of having 2 x the same game on your PC/Laptop so I suppose that counts for something

Just as a note for me when I switch servers it does a very quick patch each time I swap, I'm assuming thats what switches the server around or something... :obama:

Doing that with a 21/0/9 AD build. I -think- his Q stacks with Sheen, so you should be able to get an easy 300+ by the time you get Sheen. That assumes your Q is level 2-3 by then.

He does appear to have farm issues though. Max Q and WE first, E doesn't scale enough to be viable until you've maxed the other two, imo.

Also note his ult will count as 2 summons for his passive, so I think you can get 15% boosted AD at level 6.

He's basically Nasus on crack with Mundo qualities and Zilean/Morde ult. AD bruiser, definitely not a carry, could be a funny offtank.

I am incapable of getting the US client working. I downloaded it, but when I try to install it all it does it try to fix my EU version.

I change the text in lol.properties and it reverts to the EU one after starting the client.

Manamune's the last item in the build I posted earlier for Yorick after using it just now in a normal. With Triforce and enough Manamune procs, should get close to 300 AD, which is pretty much gg for anybody caught next to you when you proc Q/W.

In current meta mostly played as. Of course she can still do ap carry route with solo lane, but she is static. She needs to be too close to deal dmg and it is amazing if you got a team of aoe control. Amumu, Galio, name it. With current state of game, she is much better terroring botlane with good burst carry - vayne, corki. You sit in bush, you hit bindings your lane get a kill.

Yorik seems shit underpowered, his minions just evaporate in teamfights and the rest of his abilities are nothing special. Buffed Fiddle seems p nice, havent played him myself yet though, but i remember my main grief being that the range on his fear was too low to initiate with it. Lower channel time on crowstorm seems nice though.
