Standard Mage runepage
Start with W if you're mid, start wtih Q if you're in side lane.... but by all means, take fucking mid....
Skills to lvl 6 for Mid - W, Q, W, E W, R, from there It's up to you what skills to max and in what order, but I tend to drop points into both E and Q past 6 and max W last... getting it to 3 early is because thats what you need to nuke the back wave with your W... keeps them from pushing. Reverse Levels 1 and 2 for a side lane.

-Start with D Ring, first back, get another D Ring and boots,
-Get Sorc Shoes and Revolver
-Then build Hourglass or Rabadon's next, (depending on whether or not you're having survival issues in fights)
-After that, build the one you didn't build before it (hourglass or rabadons again, in case you're unable to read)
-Turn your revolver into Will of the Ancients

Usually by this point you've won or lost the game, but after this you can sell D Rings and replace with other items.... It's actually quite rare that I ever build a RoA on Morgana... but if I find myself needing the extra HP and such I do it. I rarely build her the same way twice in a row... you should never ever ever get into a habit of building a static build, and build items based on what you need to keep her going.

About 90% of the time I play Morgana, I go positive K/D with her without issue, even when my team fucks the dog and loses hard. I've never EVER started with a Mana Crystal or Meki Pendant, I've never built an AA Staff, and I've Certainly never built a fucking Chalice..... christ.

Never started boots against either of them, and have never had a problem, just saying...

Like I said, I generally don't build her the same very often, its about half and half whether or not I buy the revolver (I put it there for reason that if someones building a chalice or starting with a crystal... is only pubstomping anyway), and that's when I have a good AP on the team that would benefit from the WOTA later...

But honestly, at least the Revolver's a fuck of a lot better than ppl building a fucking chalice

No real reason to put 21 points into defense if you think you're going to face someone like Brand... Black Shield takes care of that... just max it over Q once you hit lvl 3 with your W...

21 points in utility tree give so much more... movement speed, extra xp, lower flash CD, etc...

After reviewing my recent match history, I've been building more RoAs than I have WotA's (whole reason for revolver btw) and I've started spamming wards more since my noob fuckin teams never buy wards... and good warding wins games.

Most games lately I end up looking something like... D Ring, Sorc Shoes, RoA, Rabadon, Hourglass, Wards.... and the game usually ends before long. Of Course, replacing that D Ring with a Void Staff would be good if the game keeps going...

so i just had 3 of those ranked games.

first i was bot with ashe+alistar vs cait+taric gettin the ass raped out of us i mean it wasnt funny anymore. we didnt die just our tower was slowly falling we could barely defend. what did our leesin do? nothing. he didnt gank once. the entire game. well until 20 mins at least where we surrendered.

second game i was mid vs heimer which was like fucking hell cus he was a decent player and i could again barely defend the tower being constantly oom. what did our jungle WW do? nothing. he ganked top once. then he just died like 9 times until we again surrendered at 20.

third game i thought okay fuck this i show those scrubs how to jungle properly:

Reason for 21 def is not against Brand harass it's against minions. You can zone brand from lvl 1, denying him all auto attack last hits. It's fun, you should try it.

And Orianna is hilariously op and will be nerfed. Not enough I think, so hopefully they nerf her again next patch.

You only need to worry about minion damage while poking is negligible on the champion in question since.. that spell vamp... hell, if you play morg with any sort of sense... if you take damage, step back, farm with soil, heal all that damage back.... it can even completely negate enemy poking....

Flash is integral to this game being even slightly fun to watch and play. It's a brilliant spell and enables so many offensive and defensive plays for all champs that I love it. On some chars you can leave it though, and something being mostly better is no problem imo. I almost always build IE on my ranged AD, and deathcap on my mages, those items don't need to go away.

Why you go spellvamp on morde isn't for the teamfight, it's for your perma lane sustain pushing business. Can't keep him down however many ganks, for real.

Drachen, I go 21 in util on many casters like gragas, brand, annie, but I really like 21 def for morg. Different playstyle (in how we play morg). I'm not trying to argfue that you're wrong, I'm saying I do her different from you.

The extra 100 HP you spell vamp during laning means you stay in lane while the other person has to back to buy more pots, letting you get a farm and XP advantage which snowballs as it makes it easier to push them out of lane again and again. I can't think of a single champion I'd rather rush a major defensive item on instead of getting more sustain.

Cait is really fun, play her aggressive and harass the shit out of them. Try to land your passive charged shoots always on an enemy champ. Only thing I don't really like about her, is that both w and e are just toy skills. Sure, they come in handy from time to time, you can slow this fleeing champ or you escape some gank with your e or maybe some champs runs into one of your bush traps, but tbh playing her is almost only about autoattack, q and r. (fun: high attackspeed (which you will probably build anyway) and frozen mallet :D)

on another note: played cho yesterday for the first time (1vs2 solotop and next match duolane with corki vs. lee sin and tryn). oh boy.. this guy is so much fun. nomnomnom.

Good trap placement is a fucking bitch to play against, because stepping in one at the wrong time is a free Q + auto attack or two, followed by a net to the face. Her net is also a good escape/engage skill which can be used instead of, or in combination with, flash. In fact, her net is as much of a toy as any other AD carries reposition mechanic. And don't forget the standard taric/cait setup where taric stuns and cait drops a trap for a good 2-3 seconds of CC and free hits... but that's totally a toy, amirite? :P

Except FoN + Belt is not a hard tank. It's two core items. This is the build progression I'm talking about, since it got lost a few pages back, and needs to be said for context: Pendant -> Sorc Shoes -> Belt -> FoN -> Build what you need. I start Revolver after that for Gunblade starting.

Should have added I played Cait only in sololane so far. And I didn't wrote they are useless or crap, I just said they are very situational. Yes, you can do nasty stuff with them (drop a trap in teamfights and slow afterwards) but they aren't used that often as your q or the w+e's of other champs. Thus my declaration as tool/toy skill.

The thing with Morde is knowing how to counter him, he's just very different from other champs, like you should target his ghost first, it's essentially a full damage character that effectively heals Morde with every attack. But people will just ignore the ghost and focus on AFK Morde while dying to the ghost.

But really just get an ap caster like Brand to lane against him, you'll rape him to shit.

'Leash' is landing one autoattack/one spell into a jungler's camp before he hits it, then fucking off. It will aggro onto you before switching to him, and you run straight away so you don't take much damage. The jungler also takes less damage. Some junglers NEED a leash.

Try to use Runes to get up to at least 15% AS, and 12 ArPen. Armour yellows and choice blues (I use mr/lvl but AS ones are probably optimal for jungle clear times).

I'd change your masteries up a little. I use 11/3/15, or 21/0/9 (prefer the first one as it grabs flash cd and move speed from utility whilst taking AS and minion damage from Offense along with a little more armour).

Start vamp sceptre, take Q first and do wolves, wraiths (smite big one), double golems, recall buy cloth +1 pot, blue, full clear.

QWQE for first skills then max R>Q>E>W.

Nocturnes power comes from his ganks, you need to get good at seeing when they are possible and going for it. If you can get fed you do shit loads of damage.

Try to use Runes to get up to at least 15% AS, and 12 ArPen. Armour yellows and choice blues (I use mr/lvl but AS ones are probably optimal for jungle clear times).

I'd change your masteries up a little. I use 11/3/15, or 21/0/9 (prefer the first one as it grabs flash cd and move speed from utility whilst taking AS and minion damage from Offense along with a little more armour).

Start vamp sceptre, take Q first and do wolves, wraiths (smite big one), double golems, recall buy cloth +1 pot, blue, full clear.

QWQE for first skills then max R>Q>E>W.

Nocturnes power comes from his ganks, you need to get good at seeing when they are possible and going for it. If you can get fed you do shit loads of damage.

There are some good ideas here, but some of it is incorrect. The runes you want are ArP marks, flat armor seals, scaling or flat mr glyphs or atkspd, and ArP quints. Masteries are 21/0/9, grabbing attack speed in the second tier, arpen in third, attack damage and crit chance, as well as finally havoc. Take the usual 9 in util for buff duration etc. Summoners are flash/smite. Start at double golems with cloth 5pots and q. Take E when you level up, and gank bottom at level 2. nobody ever expects a level 2 jungle gank. if you're ganking bot, they will probably still be level 1, and not many bot lane comps take boots3pots. if your bottom lane knows what the fuck they're doing it will result in either first blood, double kill, or two flashes burnt. continue to your wraiths and wolves depending on if you got a kill or not. if you got enough from the kill to get madreds, back immediately to get that. my usual build starts with getting level 1 boots and lantern, then getting brutalizer, then upgrading to attack speed boots, finish yomuus. if their ap carry is getting fed, get banshee's next for the mr and double spell shield (your w is the other) If their AD carries are getting fed, buy the chain vest half of atma's and start working on either banshee's or warmogs. your endgame build should be:

wriggles, berserker greaves, yomuu's, warmogs, atmas, banshee's veil. pot if needed.

A great way to gank lanes when you have your ult is to rush in without using it, to see if you can get the kill that way. if not, back off and do some of your jungle or counter jungle or check other lanes, while you wait for them to be comfortable again. then you can use your ult and rape rape rape.

on a side note: noct can beat almost every other jungle besides udyr and lee sin. a tip for lee sin is to try and spell shield either his initial q or his intial e. this will either lower his dmg output or not allow him to slow you down. for udyr, run the fuck away. jungle udyr is a balls-ass monster and will fuck you in the ass sideways.

ps. you don't have to gank at level 2 if you aren't confident or your bot/top lane depending seem like retards. if you don't want to gank, take W instead. hope this was informative.

I can't say I'm that crazy about the shen buffs it's great that they're doing it but they haven't touched on the fact that he's still going to struggle with his energy. He's the only energy user that gets no type of regen bonus except for his E which still costs huge amounts of energy and his Q will still empty his energy pool fast before he gets it to level 4. This'll boost his early jungle alright but it's still going to drop off, if they'd made some changes to his passive so it would work on creeps and modify the cooldown reduction so it's not being spammed like crazy he'd be a decent jungle but he's still going to be slow at clearing camps and going empty on energy at the very least his ulti costing nothing is going to help.

As a solo lane I could see him doing well if he's against an opponent with terrible sustain but otherwise he won't be doing anything special. Still plenty of solos up top that will work better than he will, I'm far more interested in Taric that's for sure.

Philo on Shen makes me flinch in pain, HoG and Omen in place of Thornmail is prob sound.

I think he'll be too weak with just Zhoyna/rylias/abysal. He'll need at least a proper armour and MR item else he'll just be like those mongs who don't build decent tank on characters like Morde, free food.

He can't farm for shit, no change there.

Prob just go lurk in the jungle, although I don't know if his Q buffs are going to mean anything in terms of jungling speed.

Ranked games are superior to normal games because:
- There is a ban phase where each team bans two champions.
- Teams then alternate picks.
- No champion may be picked more than once.

This eliminates mirror matches (which are gay), allows you to block op champs (which are super gay), and finally lets you counterpick allowing you to defeat lame ass cheese tactics found in normal games, like all tank teams, etc.

ELO is a rating system. Google can tell you more.

From time to time you get a dedicated support player that goes 1/9/35 in ever game (and he gets reported for feeding). But that's one in 300. I feel sorry for them, but they are colateral damage. Just punish everybody.

Also: turns our feeding 8 kills to a Vayne by 10 minutes makes you lose games. Who would have thought...

Riven seems...ok. Nothing amazing her W is meh fairly long cooldown for only a .5 sec stun. Can't comment on her passive properly since it's hard to judge form streams and haven't seen any proper stats for it, wikia seems to think it's only .5 of bonus attack damage which if true it's worthless but it must be bugged or they just put it into the site wrong.

Basically a fairly squishy melee that jumps into the middle of things does a bit of aoe and tries to escape but can't really get very far. Apparently her dash and the leap from Q won't actually go over anything.

Shen is pretty much what I expected an AP with a single target nuke that's cack at farming.

Full tank Galio is a low-cc no dps burden on the team that is only useful for the ult every 2mins. Hybrid/AP Galio owns, esp since they changed ult to give 50% damage reduce you absolutely dont need to build tanky.

When you can't max Q, take W, the E is safe to ignore since you'd use it more as a dash, and the AD ratio on it is piss poor, something like only 200-210 extra shield at 18 with a full build similar to mine. Vs Morde shield which is 630, Sion shield which is easily 300+ even non-AP, and etc.

I was actually going for that but we killed their Nexus. It was either Triforce or Mallet, tbh. Atmog is a core item because without it, she's got around 1500 HP. That is atrocious for a melee, as we all know.

Apart from days where you only have an hour max to play: Doesn't make much sense? Like you do a normal Match, get all the IP and in some case a bonus on top of that?

It s a flat 150 ip bonus per win, game VS bots usualy lasts around 20ish minutes, and i dont really have much time to plays X amount of normal games to wait till i get a team good enough to carry my shitskills.
But it's true that i could also play with Voulture and ensure a victory.

Yes it is, but the rest of the stats would also be pretty good on her I think.
