Nope.

This episode has already had half of it spoilered in previews. I didn't watch those either. Waiting for Saturday.

Besides, tonight is when I get to watch Community.

Weird Al posted on his facebook page that he is in tomorrow's episode. Surprisingly little hate.

I'm seeing more "Guess I better watch the show" replies.

I've got one friend who will finally be watching the show due to the fact that Weird Al is in this ep.

Has a tiny bit cut from the beginning, but will do until a better version is uploaded.

Not a crazy amazing episode as I hoped, but a solid 8/10 from me. Had me smiling throughout but the ending seemed a tad rushed.

Also Rainbow Dash gets another mark in the 'acts like a cunt' column.

They absolutely went to town with musical numbers and animation flourishes, but this episode was completely batshit insane. Unfortunately, that's not quite in a good way.

It was a thing, and it was interesting, but, writers, please never do that again.

Why was there footage of a real crocodile? :D

This episode tried by be as :psyduck: as it could. But you cant force that... And I hear they didn't allow Weir Al to write any songs. :(

To be fair with how Ponka has been written this season her episode being fucking insane isn't surprising, especially with weird al also starring.

I really like Jason's dedication to his show. He also did Pinkie's felt trip in hsi basement as well.

I don't get the hate for this episode, I thought it was great.

And the reason why Weird Al couldn't write any songs is probably because of rights management. If he released any of the songs on his CD, would they belong to him or Hasbro?

Awaiting house remix of last song.

I don't get the hate for this episode, I thought it was great.I complete agree. That episode was everything I could hope for and more. Any Weird Al appearance would have to be a team-up with Pinkie Pie, and they played this one perfectly. Pinkie's slapstick versus Al's absurdity; the ultimate combination.

And I have to say, the pony polka in particular absolutely killed me. I had to stop and go get a tissue before I could resume. Between the polka and the non-animated cutaways (I hope this stays as a tradition for at least one Pinkie episode a season) it was a complete riot.

This episode did have its touching moments too. In fact it probably got a bit saccharine, but not disruptively so. Pinkie realizing she wasn't doing this for RD in the end was a nice touch regardless. Oh, and quick pan of the fillies towards the end was a hoot; Lyra, Bon-Bon, Derpy, and a brace-face Colgate? :D

Not every episode can be like this. But for a Pinkie episode I feel it worked very well.

And the reason why Weird Al couldn't write any songs is probably because of rights management. If he released any of the songs on his CD, would they belong to him or Hasbro? That is a good point. Keeping every song in-house would certainly make licensing easier, which in turn makes it all the more likely we'll get more official soundtrack releases.

Someone pointed out that DHX probably posed Twilight's model first, then duplicated it for the other mane 6 but forgot to remove the wings on Rarity. If her model was doing something unique then I would be :popcorning: with the rest of you.

I don't think it's anything more than yet another demonstration of the quirks that come from Flash, and massive libraries of nested symbols in a terrifyingly deep hierarchy. It's just funny. :p

Eh, was a good episode. Am finally getting caught up on my pony watching. :)

Was very sad in the beginning, but got much better.

Also, anyone else notice Rainbow Dash was turning 21?

I'm surprised there wasn't lots and lots of cider around, esp considering they brought back the cider joke for the bat pony episode........

Maybe the Equestrian legal drinking age is 18. It would have to be since Pinkie is supposed to be slightly younger :p

Also, anyone else notice Rainbow Dash was turning 21?For something like that, it was almost certainly setup by the animators. Which is to say that it's not meant to be canon, they were just being cheeky.
