Does anyone know who I can get awesome cheap internet service from? I'm not looking for a bundle package. Just internet alone. Budget is $20-$30 a month. Halp!

At best we can guess you are in the US because:

1) $ sign
2) terrible poster

I'd assume if someone was going to give you an answer, you'd need to provide a little more detail. Esp. location and bandwidth you're looking for.

DSL typically fits the bill.

DSL is about your only option but you could also look at a 4g package on your phone, some times its cheeper to add tethering than get a line installed at a house.

I happily play FPS and MMO's on a 15kb/s connection and I don't have any issues

Latency is what sucks on mobile connection. Bandwidth is no problem you can get 10Mbit/s down ffs.

Good point, but should still be okay for MMO's

made the important part simpler to read, since you can game on 4G and the latency is much much lower (Verizon/Sprint)

Re: Cheap Internets

the fuck is wrong with you. in the USA, 4g data packages both have data caps on per month usage and start at.. $50 a month on verizon and $40 and up on sprint.

and just to remind the OP of both the cheapest bang for the buck internets

And 4g is marketing bullshit, most wimax is the shitty high latency variety.
