Yeah as mentioned in an earlier dev blog you can now choose if you want your reward for buddy invites as a 30d plex or 30d extension in your sub. So invite alt -> alt uses plex -> main gets a plex in redeem items -> repeat

Your investment might be 1x plex but you always get it back so you only lose isk.if you sell that plex for less isk than you paid for it in the first place. Easily made up by profit from quake zero sales. If you can be bothered.

I cba either, but I think there will be a massive spike of new accounts in the next few weeks, followed by a rapid fall of new accounts when their times run out. There will be a real bloat of quafe zero on the eve market for a while until it gets used up (main bonus to speed and sig tankers). I wonder if CCP is trying to cook the numbers a bit in order to get a new round of funding?

The point is that only a dozen peeps doing this completely destroys the active account metrics. Eve could easily jump 100k "active" subscribers in the next fortnight, or if they keep it this way any time there is a redeemable item. A totally fake bubble.

Before tho there was a limit on how many times you'd do it, as each time it would cost you. This way tho there is zero cost for each iteration, just a 1 time cost. So there'll be a much bigger bubble with this as the only limiter is time. Hell you could write a script to do it.

Well, CCP nerfing anoms and jump bridges are two things that the current CSM was specifically formed (by allot stuffing or not) to fight against. So Mittens was right, CSM really is irrelevant, now even more so? Will we be back to free trips to Iceland next year?

I would have made more headway than one buddy account so far but I crash after about five to ten minutes in the avatar creator. I think the next couple of times I'll just hit randomize all and be done with it, but I'm a sucker for a well made avatar. He who controls the Quafe, controls the universe.

As I still play EVE to some extent, I think I have the stamina to go beyond making just 15 accounts ;)

EDIT: Currently planning to shoehorn the client onto my laptop, then access my main on that (skipping character creator process on a GMA HD) while generating alts on the main PC. Initial target of 50 accounts then I'll see how phased I am by it all.

Can't do that, as new trials can't use contracts. The best way is to have another PC to run one account on (as you can't run multiple accounts on one computer if one of the accounts is trial account) and then use station trade.

You're using PLEX to activate the accounts, so they aren't trials any more. Station trading and contracts both work fine.

I have a PLEX in my main. I invite and make a trial account. I want to give him that plex. It seems that the only way to do it is trading (if its possible with all the trial restrictions shit). Yes, station trade works. You need two computers for it thought, as you can't run a second client on the same computer with the trial client.

Obviously you just put both ships next to each other and have one take from the other, but you can stick a few hundred mils worth of mods in a can and set your new awoxing/corp theft alt up with a clean API.
