2. Doctor - Can protect one person a day, dies if they protect a mafia member.
3. Don - Sends in the mafia vote, if he dies all the mafia members vote.
4. Mafia - Evil dirty mafia.

It didn't start off being a play, I thought I was in the discussion thread. I tried to make it a play after I realized what I had done and I DID manage to get our doc talking to me, but yeah, too far gone by then. No one believes me when I say im not mafia despite never actually lieing in the game.

Just from watching this must-lynch scenario I have a suggestion for future must-lynches.

In other games I have played, when it became a must lynch votes were not allowed to be changed. You could talk as much as you wanted, but once you bolded in a vote that was your permanent vote for the day. It worked pretty well and sped up the process so that it finished faster usually, since one incorrect vote by the village = automatic game over.

I propose we adopt this system.

No vote switching for normal days is retarded yeah, but for must-lynches when there is not a whole lot of people or discussion it works.

If you're not on at end of day you can always vote earlier anyway.

not really. So long as a single villager votes for another villager the mafia are going to win under either system, it's not like they can't just time it and switch their vote immediately before the end of day anyway.
