The town meeting was about to start. After the horrible death of the pastor and his 2 children, the crops failing and last nights eerie full moon, the villagers were scared. It was obvious to all that their town had been marked by witches. There was only one solution and everyone knew what had to be done. The witches needed to be found and killed as soon as possible or they would take this town for there own, dooming everyone to an eternity in hell.

You're missing the fact that witches don't know who are the other witches, which throws off your little theory there.

A good witch play on this vote would have been to not vote for Drum. By doing that they gain some trust in the eyes of some of the village if Drum comes up villager whilst killing a villager in the process (big payoff) or lose a witch who drew too much attention (probably couldn't have been avoided). You yourself said as much with "only 3 people who are not Drum haven't voted for her: Myself, Victoria and You (Kilabi)."

All in all I think this makes you seem more suss for drawing attention to you not voting for Drum.

I think banning Cue from further games is a bit extreme. I disagree with that entirely. He was hanging out with me this weekend and I ran to the grocery. He posted that he read my stuff, but he's a better guy than that. He didn't actually read my PM's, just wanted to annoy me a bit. It's a love-hate thing with the two of us in Mafia games. But banning him from the games? He didn't do anything wrong so I'm thinking that's a bit far.

You're missing the fact that witches don't know who are the other witches, which throws off your little theory there.

A good witch play on this vote would have been to not vote for Drum. By doing that they gain some trust in the eyes of some of the village if Drum comes up villager whilst killing a villager in the process (big payoff) or lose a witch who drew too much attention (probably couldn't have been avoided). You yourself said as much with "only 3 people who are not Drum haven't voted for her: Myself, Victoria and You (Kilabi)."

All in all I think this makes you seem more suss for drawing attention to you not voting for Drum.

All was not well in the village. Another death proved they had not found the witch. Drastic measure were needed, but the town was divided. Under protest the villagers grabbed Drum, dragging her out in to the street. While some screamed for the madness to stop, other bound and gagged her, they would set her alight. A witch would surly burn brightly this night.

A fire was lit, and drums body was thrown on to it, her screaming caused most to look away until all was silent.

Drum was burnt and found to be a villager.

Because I can't edit and it just occurred to me. Me's entire argument against myself is that I was making arguments for finding out who was a Witch in a logical manner. Now if we were actually in the 16th century, I could see how Logic would seem magical, but since I am attempting to HELP the village instead of HINDER it, you're going to try and kill me? Your argument hinges on the fact that I am trying to gain the support of the village. I say I don't have to gain the support of the village, only the ire of the witches. As always, I am prepared to die to be proven correct.

Writeup incoming (before we all have a good fight about the game in to OOG thread)


The town meeting was in chaos. Accusations of whichcraft were flying left and right, but one villager at the back remained silent throughout. As the night continued this absence of anger or judgment slowly started to become noticed. Eventually it became obvious to all, Victoria was watching them.. judging them.

In seconds Victoria had been tied up and had a bag put over his head. A hanging.. A witch would surly expose its self while trying to prevent its own death... A rope was tied to the nearest tree and then tied around Victoria's neck. 4 of the biggest villagers pulled the rope tight and with a shap snap, Victoria went limp.

Victoria was hung and found to be a villager

Woken up at 2am so I was late in thismorning.. Doing my writeup now.

Edit: I would be doing my update now, except I'm late for a meeting. It'll be up in about an hour when the meeting is over.

Edit2: The meeting was confused with panic setting in. The village hadn't found any witches yet and time was running out. Accusations had been flying left and right until suddenly Duckduck took the stand, brandishing a cross. "I have preyed for your soles" he said "But some of you have no souls".. He pointed at Me.

Shocked Me stood still. It took a moment for the villagers to react, but they did react first. Grabbing him as tight as they could they gagged him, lest he poison their ears any further. To the river they dragged him, the source of all life. Duckduck himself carried the struggling body of Me in to the water, lifting him with great strength. As he dropped Me in to the water Me stared intently at him with a grin on his face. As he hit the water Me burst in to a brilliant flame which spread over duckduck, consuming him. He screamed and fell in to thew water to try and extinguish the flames, but the water did not quench them.

Me was burnt and found to be a Witch.
Duckduck was burnt by the witches and found to be the priest.

I am not sure why duckduck called me out on being a witch becauses I am not. I am not sure if he tried to impersonate a priest while being a witch and hit me by accident (as he did not know he was a witch or just sacrificed him) but with him also dying and getting confirmed this theory dies with him.

I guess there are no hidden rules with witch spells or anything to make me appear a witch to him or just falsify the death-result or anything and I have no further idea about what is happening.

Anyway, I am just a villager and while I don´t think this will turn the vote around I hope we can still win this after this vote.

The priest have left notes. There was another witch. Kilabi had been named. The villagers didn't want to risk another drowning, so they decided just to cleanse the town with fire. Kilabi was locked him his house, the villagers decided the whole place was tainted. A fire was lit and the house surrounded to prevent escape. It burned for hours but the villagers saw no sign of Kilabi. After the remains of the building had cooled a burnt out husk was found sitting in a chair, the stretched skin forming what appeared to be a smile on his face.

The villagers retired for the night, confident the witches curse had been lifted from their town.

Qwert was woken by a sound. Someone was outside. He got out of bed and moved slowly to the window. Suddenly there was a crash as Navigator 6 burst through the window. He yelled something incomprehensible before slamming an axe in to the side of Qwerts skull. Navigator stood there for a momnet, loking at what he had done. This was Qwert, not the witch he though he was getting attacked by. How could he have killed his friend? Nothing made sense.. Navigator passed out and was found next to Qwert's body in the morning.

Kilabi was burnt and found to be a witch.
Qwert was killed by the witches and found to be a villager.
Navigator 6 was killed by the witches and found to be a villager.

(As there is now only 1 witch left they will only be getting 1 kill from now on)

Sorry for sitting last night out, told Lana already got nightshifted by work and that means no access to internet like during the day.


I am not sure why duckduck called me out on being a witch becauses I am not. I am not sure if he tried to impersonate a priest while being a witch and hit me by accident (as he did not know he was a witch or just sacrificed him) but with him also dying and getting confirmed this theory dies with him.

I guess there are no hidden rules with witch spells or anything to make me appear a witch to him or just falsify the death-result or anything and I have no further idea about what is happening.

Anyway, I am just a villager and while I don´t think this will turn the vote around I hope we can still win this after this vote.

Also: With "Me" dead and "Kilabi" afk last night the vote for the witch could not have come to a full conclusion wich in turn means no burning. Just as food for thought. Something is in the bush here.

I am still not sure about Larkin. Either he tried to taint everyones logic by pretending the witches know each other or he just missed it himself.

As they always say in "who wants to be a millionair": If you talk a lot of nonesense the people in the crowd will still catch on to it, true or not, and the crowd joker is wasted.
Would be a subtle try to push people off the right conclusions while make him look very "villager".

Not sure yet whom to vote today.

Because if I were a witch I'd definitely "Make a mistake" like that. *sigh* I just pointed out an easy vote that anyone could have noticed. And rather than argue with my point, I am apparently a witch. You lot are way to absolute. If people DO NOT SPEAK UP and TALK ABOUT WHO THEY SUSPECT without having to worry about being IMMEDIATELY accused for what amounts to NO REASON, then the witches win. Larkin and Chris agreed, Pratell must be the last witch. It was obvious. Larkin struck out first, catching Pratell in the cheek and sending him to the ground. Chris tied him up while he was unconscious and between them, the hoisted him on top of the wood pile. Pratell waited for Larkin to regain consciousness before lighting the wood.

They watched as the fire rose and quickly engulfed Pratell. As it consumed his body Larkin turned to Chris to congratulate him, but stopped short. Chris had a strange grin across his face. Before he know what had happened Chris pushed Larkin backwards and in to the flames. Larkin tried to move to get out again, confused, but for some reason none of his limbs would do has he commanded.. Chris slowly turned and walked away. This village would make a nice home for his friends, once they removed all of the bodies..

Pratell was killed by the village and revealed to be a villager.
Larkin was killed by the last witch.

Good game all, Witches win but it was damn close for the last few turns. (Also, REALLY glad I rechecked the thread before posting that)

I'm assuming that you guys contacted each other the turn before, but you didn't get the second vote matched which threw me. Or that Kilabi is just that suspicious.

You can rest easy in the knowledge that it was completely random. There is no way I would have deliberately picked Me for a witch if the roles would have been picked.. I would likely have been Nicho, one of either Cue or Drum (or whatever your name is now) but not both and then I dont know.. I may have had Me as the priest as that would have been fun.

After I missed the whole thing with the priest coming out, thank you boss, I had to mails claiming to be the last witch. Chris and larkin. I honestly had no idea who was the true witch so I tried to stay passive and see who they want to vote for.
Unfortunately they wanted to vote each other which puts me in a position to decide who I trust to get the second kill.

Only way to get the second kill for sure was to make "them" vote someone else. The real witch had to know to vote with me and the wrong witch had to get some wrong info to get fooled and led away from each other, so whoever is the real witch gets a headstart for the last day.

So the plan was to last second switch to navigator and at some point claim pratell is also claiming witch by PM. Navigator would hereby be killed, the real witch would not think anything of it because obviously he knows he is the real witch while the impersonator could be following the lead, wrongly, and think pratell is the other witch.

I read through the thread again and check whos posting is easier to copy in a fake PM. Went with pratell as he does not use capitalization because that is a nice giveaway and a difference to my posting.

And for the record Lana, IMO, this was the best balanced game so far. Very enjoyable even if it induced some burn out near the end.

After I missed the whole thing with the priest coming out, thank you boss, I had to mails claiming to be the last witch. Chris and larkin. I honestly had no idea who was the true witch so I tried to stay passive and see who they want to vote for.
Unfortunately they wanted to vote each other which puts me in a position to decide who I trust to get the second kill.

Only way to get the second kill for sure was to make "them" vote someone else. The real witch had to know to vote with me and the wrong witch had to get some wrong info to get fooled and led away from each other, so whoever is the real witch gets a headstart for the last day.

So the plan was to last second switch to navigator and at some point claim pratell is also claiming witch by PM. Navigator would hereby be killed, the real witch would not think anything of it because obviously he knows he is the real witch while the impersonator could be following the lead, wrongly, and think pratell is the other witch.

I read through the thread again and check whos posting is easier to copy in a fake PM. Went with pratell as he does not use capitalization because that is a nice giveaway and a difference to my posting.

I liked running this one, but god damn it was hard not to laugh at everyone EVERY round. I'm happy to run another one but it'll need to wait for a few weeks.
